I wonder if any FL collectors would like to see a commemoration/celebration of WWI done the "First Legion Way"....??? This seems to be a era of history not yet visited by First Legion. It would be interesting to see if Matt has plans to crash this party in 2013....^&grin....What say all yee good gentlemen?:wink2:

Hi Frank ,
I think First Legion would do a wonderful job with any WWI line they may introduce . I have to be honest I'm more then busy enough trying to keep up with the current lines that I collect and being completely selfish would not like another temptation . Regards Gebhard

I'm not an FL collector per se, although I own a few Romans, but I would certainly prefer to collect anything FL produced depicting this era over other manufacturers in and around this price bracket. :wink2:

Hi Frank, very good idea, I would love to see First legion do a WWI range, I would think it would be a popular line along with the collectors of WWII, we shall see...Sammy

Not for me. More interested in seeing Piper and Meyer added to the Waffen SS range

NAAHHH!!! :p

I think i am with Gephard: four new ranges and the expansion of the WWII range to the West is plenty for me for the beginning of 2013. For now, I have my hands full.

No for me as well. Other companies seem to be filling the need.

Good point....First Legion products are certainly hard to resist when given the choice....I must say it would be quite interesting to see First Legion address WWI in the future.....I'm sure FL would produce these to a "High Level of Excellence".....maybe in 2014.

Hi Brad ,
Sorry But I have to disagree with you , speaking for myself if other companies were as you say filling the void there would not be a need for a company like First Legion at all and no one including myself would be buying the product . As you may know over the many many years of Toy Soldier production it has just about all been covered before and in many styles and sizes . IMO no one does it like First Legion they have taken an idea and created thier own little collector base ... figures sculpted in Russia and then painted by specially trained painters in Asia to keep cost down and that has never been done before . They are the ones IMO filling the void as no one has ever tried to create figures at a near Connoisseur level in Asia at a cost of 1/3 or less of Connoisseur figures producted elsewhere in the world . Regards Gebhard

I'd like to see FL release a WWI range. True, other firms are doing the period as well, but there is plenty of scope for new entrants - my choice would be Verdun.

Would definitely go for a WWI range:

Verdun: French in Adrian Helmets and Horizon Blue, legionaires in Khaki, Trench mortars, French 75s.

St. Mihiel / Argonne Forrest: Doughboys with Chauchats, BARs, in Overcoats. 37mm (one pounder) trench guns. Germans with MG 08/15s, MP-18s. Character Figures of Patton, MacArthur, York, Whittlesey, Lejeune, Donovan.

Hello.

I collect only ww1 figures.
I have almost all the figures from K&C, Britains, Frontline and 2 tanks from ONTC.
It would be interessant if FL makes the ww1 range.
I would like to see : French soldiers with adrians helmet and russians soldiers. {sm0}

Austro-Hungarians v. Russians or Serbs would be great! I couldn't pass up Eastern Front '14-'18. The Russians deployed some interesting armored cars.

Dave

I do like FL's mounted figures and if they did go down the Great War route then I think a North American theme may serve them well. Therefore how about the charge at Moreuil Wood?
