I know that this would change me back from being a watcher to a collector of K&C, but what do you guys think about a WW1 version of the Rolls Royce Armoured Car and maybe an aircraft from the Australian Flying Corps in Palestine to compliment the ALH series? Plus maybe the German or Turkish equivalents... and Lawrence of Arabia type figures.

Are these something that maybe should be considered? Do you think that there would be the buyer interest? Do you think (or even know) if these are items that Andy and the crew have considered for production?

I would purchase both. We dont have enough WW1 planes and armor/vehicles out there to collect.

I'm for anything that gets more WW1 stuff to the collectors. There is a huge variety of material that has never been touched on as little enough has ever been done. -- Al

They would make a welcome change from yet another Tiger Tank.

Very nice pictures and would look very nice as a range. However, I am sure some would be able to get a tiger in their in some historical way or another... the turkish tiger variant!!!

Good idea, somewhere on the forum there is a thread by Howard who had a RR AC modified and repainted for the WW1.

I love this Rolls Royce Armoured Car. What a neat vehicle. I've always had a fascination with early armoured vehicles. Some of the designs were just so "fascinatingly primitive", somewhat akin to what Leonardo DaVinci might have designed during the Renaissance, if the internal combustian engine would have been in exhistance then. At this point I collect only the Medieval era, but if I were to start collecting any military vehicles, my first purchase would be World War I vintage, something like this.

Yeah... I remember it and was very tempted to buy one and have Obee do the same for me, but eventually decided that I'd hold off and see if a WW1 version with spoked wheels is released. I've always wanted a WW1 RR armoured car, so am hoping that it is something being considered by K&C.

And I agree, bearybones there is something fascinatingly primitive about the WW1 armoured vehicles which is also the attraction for me. I've been looking at the German armoured car available from JJ as well as their Italian, Spanish Civil War model and have been sorely tempted, but am trying to take a longer term, more disciplined view of what (if anything) I buy... guess I was disappointed with the dead-end of the USN/USMC series and apparent demise of SOHK. So, unless I can see a 'future' re acquisitions I just hold off these days. The forthcoming WW1 ANZACs (heliograph etc) have opened a new collecting possibility for me... but regardless, if a WW1 RR was released I'd buy it, even as a stand alone model.
