Very seldom do you see any WW1 Middle Eastern toy soldier dioramas. You have a great scene here,

Great close up shots Gary . Love the shot from behind the advancing Brits........very "saving private Ryan- like " action shot. I have a large scale Palestine dio also. Will see if I can get some pics posted next few days.

have been busy with the camera after reading this thread........ here are a couple of overview shots to start........a combined Anglo-Australian attack on a combined Ottoman-Asien Korps defence.....

followed by 3 views of the Ottoman positions as the attackers see it ( heavy duplication of attackers with those in your shots ......we need more K&C Palestine Brits !)

meanwhile the Lighthorse are storming the rocky outcrop and creeping along the side wall ..........

meanwhile the Asien Korps hold the position on the extreme right..........combo of TGM and a couple of converted K&C WW1 Bavarians from
the range issued 7 or 8 years ago to take on the Kings own Scottish Borderers. Steel helmets were rare among the Asien Korps, with field caps the norm, but where they did exist they were sand yellow.....so painted them over and ditto for the trousers. To be honest I couldn't get them in my WW1 west front trench scene in the kneeling position without them sitting in a suicide position on top of the trench.......so I redeployed to the Palestinian front.........

always good to shoot from behind the rocks..........and this group of 3 is his target........

last one...... took my Mrs' panoramic camera and tried to shoot the front as a panorama ......... a bit of exhibitionism on my part.......
hopefully they come out ok on-line.

Wonderful seeing your desert displays up close fella's, thanks for sharing!

Very well done displays! There are some great books in reprint now on the Imperial Camel Corps that I just finished to say that they had their hands full with this campaign would be an understatement. Anyway very nice looking displays
