Thought I would share this WW1 German Trench Diorama I created a while back using 120mm figures from Jon Smith Modellbau. This project took just about a year to complete - W. Britain's keeps me pretty busy painting so I worked on this in-between assignments!

All I can say is that is one amazing diorama. The realistic detail is amazing. Love the flare gun and it's cartridges, the spent shell casings, the case cape over the dugout entrance, and especially the dirt itself. Beautiful work. -- Al

Dave...that is fantastic...one of the most realistic terrains I have ever seen...I love the roots growing out of the dirt...the detail and props are spectacular...any chance for some more pictures...maybe one showing the entire diorama...

Thanks so much for the great feedback! Here are a few more photos - I realized that I do not have one of the entire overview! Maybe when it stops raining...

I fell through my chair when I saw the pictures, so nice of detail I've never seen.

I wonder what it would look like if photgraphed in black and white? I wouldnt mind betting it would fool more than a few as a genuine photo. ;)
