This may be a silly question, but are the new Russians in winter or summer uniforms.

I have checked the internet, but i am not having much luck picture wise.

Thanks in advance Matt.

I might have posted my question in the wrong place, so i have added a couple of pic's.

The uniform i am unsure on is the one on the two figures at the back as i think they are winter uniforms.

Looking at a new dio and unsure on winter or summer.

Thanks Matt

Hi Matt
Looks to me to be the padded jacket issued for the Winter, but how early in the Winter the troops got them or how early in the Spring they were still wearing them is open to your own interpretation of course !

Thanks Tom,

Its a older one I used before, I figured people kept looking at the thread I may as well post a couple pic's with the
figures in question.

Matt

Thanks Steve,

That's very helpful, I might have to pick up some spring Germans.{sm4}

If this is the calibre of what to expect for the Brisbane K&C dinner diorama competition, then I may as well hang up me bucket and spade now!{sm2}

Fantastic detail Matt, thanks for sharing. ^&grin

That's one of the boards I did for practising rust, but does help to be able to bend the ear's of Wayne & Bob for technics.

I am still humming & harring as to whether or not to enter this year, although my son said I should step my game up and have a go.{sm4}

I think this year we will have a lot more people enter and the competition will fierce.

I hope to see you there, only 58 day's to go.

I'd take you're sons advice Matt and give it a crack mate. I have no doubt last years efforts were just a taste of things to come, but it's all about participation and enjoying the hobby surrounded by some wonderful blokes and sheila's.:salute::

If things work out at my end I certainly hope to be able to pop over for the weekend and yes I may dip me toe in the competition pool as well for a laugh.

Cheers Toddy
