Nice pics,the top one is very much like the figures Toy Army Workshop released a few years back.They made superb WW1 figs,can't wait for Andy's though.

Its really good to see WW1 Pics in colour for a change.Somehow breaths more life into some of them.A few years ago there was a tv series entitled 'WW1 in Colour'.Made for a new and fascinating look at some iconic film.

I hate to sound cynical but the Russians look like they've been 'photo-shopped' from a street scene to the railway. Similarly the Black Watch look like they've been moved from a training ground to a more frontline scene. (Note the boots and the grass). If I'm right then it probably was done for propaganda back in the war itself.
