Just saw a blurb on a wargaming forum about this movie. Tells the story of Colonials who fought for the French in WWII during the Italian and Normandy campaigns. Scheduled for release in a few days, DVD release scheduled for June 12th.
Review I read compares much of the action to SPR (I've read that before and found it not to be in the case in most instances). One thing I did find interesting is the climatic scene in the movie involves some pretty intense action in a French town (where have we seen that before?).
Reviewer points out the movie depects how badly the men were treated by other French soldiers and especially the officers. Were used as human shields during one attack and took very heavy casualties as a result. I'm going to check the theaters around here over the next week or so..............
