Here some pics from my North Africa airfield diorama.
Marseille’s Bf-109F-4/Z (trop) “Yellow 14” JG27, Quotaifya, Lybia and FW-190A-3 JG2, "Richthofen", Kairouan Airfield, Tunesia
The Bf-109F-4 Hans Jochen Marseille is from King&Country. Also the figurines on the left (Leutnant Günther Steinhauser, Hauptmann Hans Jochen Marseille, Leutnant Hans-Arnold Stahlschmidt, three biggest aces of JG27 ), the Photographer.
The Focke-Wulf FW-190A-3 is from Thomas Gunn, also the mechanic on the ladder and the desert medical Kübelwagen Kfz. 82. The pilot (in front of the FW-190) is from the K&C (set “Rommel’s desert taxi”) like the Sd.Kfz. 11 (Desert Transport)

Some nice pieces here, enhanced by that great backdrop.:salute::, Robin.

Nice mate working on a AK airfield myself hope it comes up as good as yours.

Thank you.
The diorama itself is not really difficult, I think, I spend more time for looking the right backdrop and ground cover.
I forget the thread but in one diorama thread one of the members has a good tip: don't look for backdrops look for posters.
the backdrop is a poster from amazon (posterlounge), palm in desert panorama, Tunesia.
The base is a new mat from Javis, Desert Zone Battle Mat, original for wargaming.
Here another photos from the Thomas Gunn part
