A NEW WINTER TIGER ! Thats the ticket ! :D

We can always used another TIGER ;)

MEOW !

Maybe the next Tiger might be a King Tiger from this theatre, this would be so cool.I agree about the artillery my hard pressed GI's could really do with some heavy back up right now.A new Winter Panther would be welcome too, come to think of it the Bulge is one of my favourite collections so any additions are always welcome;).However the next release for this series will probably be in the winter months, gives me a chance to reinforce my Normandy Bridgehead first.

YES, I WOULD LIKE TO GET CAUGHT UP ON MY D-DAY, THEN HOPEFULLY SOME GREAT WINTER STUFF COMETH OUR WAY BY YEAR'S END!! HAPPY HOLIDAYS...SAMMY

Maybe, they can frost over the new M4A1 amd make a winter vesion, as they did with the Chaffee.

Hi all,

Just getting started with this particular range; only got my first set (BBA025 "Moving Up the Line") earlier this month (check out the profile picture of me grinning ear to ear after purchase - taken outside Toysoldiers Paris!).

Very, very impressed by what I've see so far though, so any upcoming additions to the Bulge series would be very welcome!

Something like a new King Tiger in a general late-war camo scheme would definitely be very nice as this would make it appropriate for other K&C late-WWII ranges like Market Garden, Normandy, or Fall of Berlin. Equally, more US winter armour for this range like a new Sherman would I'm sure be very well received, as judging by any comments I've read on TFS, the BOB series does seem to be one of King and Country's most popular World War Two ranges.

Like Sammy, I've missed past items like the "General Inspection" Sherman, so any opportunity to remedy that would be gratefully received!

Cheers,

Molloy.

The Bulge series figures are truly superb. The facial quality and realism are spot on.I'm lucky enough to have quite a few of these sets and from first set to last they are fantastic. The M10 Tank destroyer is one of my favourite of all the Tanks i own,the new Winter Chaffee is also very cool. The next on my Bulge hitlist will be Howitzer and crew.:)

Isn't it interesting that there are WINTER GERMANS in BBG and WS ranges ?

Ron

True Ron.I guess they can be used for Bulge or Russian fronts,me i'm into the Bulge. My German troops have the Hummel around Bastogne and i think this was a WS release wasn't it.(Love the Hetzer too)

Rob

Rob

Yea - the Hummel and Gepard Flakpanzer make up one diorama for my Winter Germans and the Hetzer and Grille make up another !!

I missed out on the SL Winter Tiger and the old 1998 Winter Stug w/ Long Barrel - I hope we can see some remakes of those.

We really need some dead/wounded Winter Germans too !

Cheers Molloy:

The "General Inspection" Sherman is still available via some dealers (i.e. Treefrog) & even on eBay at the list retail price so do not wait too much longer. As for the "Bulge" series, it is by far my favorite-in fact, I am very passionate about it. I do not mind the release wait though as all of the other collectors are due their respective release share too!

Beaufighter

Are you referring to the american pak howitzer? I've considered getting it but keep putting it off. Haven't seen it in person but it sure looks .

Hi Beaufighter,

Thank you for the heads-up, wasn't aware at all that the Sherman was still available in some places, I assumed it was long since sold-out! Hmmm....quite tempting!

Definitely with you on the release wait, not only is it important for collectors with interests in other areas that all of K&C's ranges are regularly updated, it does also provide a much needed opportunity to catch up on the ranges you do collect and (try to!) save for the next wave!

Cheers,

Molloy.

I'd very much like more dead and wounded too Ron,but i'm not sure we are in the majority there. If they release a Winter Stug i'll sure get me one of them there babies.;)

Thats the one, superb up close, the guys sure look cold!

OK, here's some suggestions;

1) The US 155mm howitzer - each infantry division had a 12-gun battalion of these and there were more at Corps level. A common weapn that is uncommon in small versions. Figarti stole the thunder on the 155 GUN (the "Long Tom") but this goes perfectly with the M5 tractor already produced. In the photo below note the M5s near the guns (OK, so it's a Korean War photo - same stuff was in WW2)

2) the Pz IV/L70 - another vehicle that saw action in the Ardennes due to the shortage of German tanks. Looks almost as cool as the JagdPanther

3) The M4A3 Sherman with 76mm gun. Common through many units that fought in the Bulge from beginning to end. One fun thing to do with this one would be to issue one version with a black crew and mark it from the 761st Tank Battalion (Cld) and issue another version marked from one of the armored divisions (remember that there were elements of the 9th and 10th Armored Divisions in Bastogne as well as the 101st Airborne Division!)

I WOULD LOVE TO SEE THAT PZ IV/L70 EVERY NOW AND THEN YOU SEE ONE OF THEM IN BBG OLD NEWS REELS, NOW THAT WOULD BE A MONSTER
