Yes Mike I did build the hut. Made from Foam board, covered in a thin coating of filler, Roof is Foam board again but covered with air drying clay, which I combed for the thatch effect, other than that some match sticks, cocktail sticks and bamboo skewers.

There's that corn eating spy again.

Yes, she is a master or should that be mistress of disguise !

You have hit the rural life perfectly in this neck of the woods. Robin.

Thanks Robin ! :salute::

Andy and K&C have done a great job with the Water Buffalos, hopefully a few more farm animals will be added later such as Pot Bellied Pigs and Chickens :salute::

Terrific once again Steve!! The quiet, everyday civilian scenes go a long way to telling the history of the war too.

You've been capturing both aspects of the Vietnam War (the war itself and the civilians) quite well in your dio's these past several years.

Yes the civilians do add depth to the stories to dioramas and hopefully Andy and K&C will keep up the releases of them.

Chickens & pigs......now you're talking Steve. They make great additions to any dio really. Great suggestion mate. :wink2:^&grin

Couple more ideas, a Water Buffalo pulling a cart and think a dead Water Buffalo would be very useful for dioramas too !
