You Know You Are A King&Country Fanatic If: (1 Viewer)

. . . the first work you had done on your new house was converting the three rooms on the third floor from Victorian era servant's quarters (my home was the guest house for Cedermere, the William Cullen Bryant Estate) into an 800 square foot K&C display area.^&grin

Definately an outstanding Achievement and dedication to this hobby ! On top of that you were well mentioned in the 25th Anniversary Issue of King&Country Collectors Quarterly !
Thanks to all of the spouses who support all of us in our collecting endeavors !! {bravo}}

I walk into my favorite King&Country dealer, Sierra Toy Soldier, with $500.00 spending cash in my pocket and leave with $000.00 spending cash AND a credit card receipt for an additional $500.00

That's what I'm talking about.....SHOPPING SPREE !!!! {sm3}

...you measure the value and worth of other non-hobby items in K&C releases.

"Well that new laptop is the same as a Typhoon, Tilly and 3 ground crew, hmm, I'll stick with the old tower unit for now!"

or

"Those shoes are how much??? That's the same as strictly limited Winter Tiger!!! Erm I mean, I much prefer your older ones darling, they make you look so slim and long-legged"

^&grin

Hahahahahahaha, good point! I wish a pair of my wife's shoes was only the cost of a Winter Tiger, more like the cost of a Wooden Warbird and let's not even talk about handbags......

Here is another one.....or two.....

* You have the 2011 K&C collectors calender but refuse to write anything in it as you don't won't to ruin it in any way {sm3}

* A visitor in your home sees your K&C Collection and makes a smart comment
"Oh you collect little toys" as you quickly advise them the front door is not that far away {sm3} {sm3}

I like the calendar reference, LOL. My wife and I have a strict no toy solider/no fitness items (she is a fitness model/competitor) in the master bedroom rule. But the K&C calendar is allowed!!!!!

Guys,
I have to agree with all that has been said, but I add the two following:
1. Three new showcases arrive this morning by truck and your wife signs for them and comments in a stern voice. "That makes eighteen of these you have purchased."^&grin
2. When for the last two years your Dealer has you credit card details and just told to send everything.{eek3}
Cheers Howard

PS Your loved by Harry on another Forum:smile2:

Harry is more than welcome to join us over here. Welcome to the jungle harry !

Couldn`t put it better! Happens to me all the time... Can`t help it, everything my wife shops is instinctively and automatically compared to what it means in K&C merchandise! That`s when I see how feeble my spending is...{sm2}

...one more:

- your neighbours can tell when your wife is in the bathroom !
(because that's the moment when they see you sneeking out to the car to pick-up a parcel to bring it into your house :wink2:)

you do'nt know how right you are .....I have done that more than ounce ..^&grin^&grin^&grin^&grin

I guess I have it good. The Postal Service delivery lady hands off the box or boxes to the wife the majority of the time.She in turn would ask for me to point out to her the newly delivered items which are proudly sitting on display.On the other hand she has a box of new shoes show up at the same frequency as my pewter and polystone treasures do. Fair enough ehhhhh ? {sm2}

I guess the only true saving grace is that K&C makes all the covert deliveries and possible consequences so worth it!!!!!
