Nick has posted a question as to what his next sets should be over 2015/16. I'll email him with my wishlist later but I thought I'd start here!

Celts in blue to go with his Romans.

Numidians, mounted, to go with the above.

A German recon squad with motorbikes & sidecars.

More winter US troops (only this set should have the better shaped helmets, like the first GI set). Both in overcoats and M1943 jackets.

Maybe a mixed set with US, German, British and Russian tank crewmen in their distinctive uniforms. Maybe two from each country?

German fallschirmjaegers fighting as ground troops like in Normandy and the Battle of the Bulge.

Late war US paratroopers - the old Conte figures are nice but aren't correct for Market-Garden, the Bulge or the Rhine operations..

Possibly US infantry from the Indian wars with trap door Spingfields. Could double as certain US infantry in Cuba.

US 60mm mortar with crew, German 8cm Mortar with crew, Russian 82mm mortar with crew

A real helpful accessory set would be a set of heads and hands for the figure convertors out there.

Given the nice work on WWII so far, I would suggest maybe the Desert campaign with Brits, Jerries and Italians, maybe Aussies, Indian troops, too?

Vietnam USMC vs NVA

Similar to Figarti but plastic.

This year is 50th anniversary that 1/9 landed in DaNang.
The escalation began.

Anything but the Alamo or Civil War!
Actually mounted Romans and other enemies of Rome.

I'd like to see Mexican artillerymen, Mexican cazadores and Zapadores, mounted Texans, Tejano defenders with appropriate attire, U.S. Dragoons for the Mexican-American War, and a couple decent artillery pieces. The Conte New Orleans Grey figures make a passable U.S. Infantryman and there are a couple Conte NOG artillerymen; with the addition of a mounted U.S. unit a modest size MAW force could be assembled.

Some nice ideas, but I remember that Nick had been contemplating launching a series on ARW before he discovered Ron Barzso was going there. Now that it appears Barzso's ARW plans are on indefinite hold I'd love to see what he had in mind.

I would also like to see Nick do AWI. As much as I like Alamo and Civil War, I think the American Revolution would be a great addition to the Barzso figures.

Continental Line
Artillery crews
Riflemen
Dragoons
British Light Inf.
Highlanders in trews
Hessians

There is a lot that can be done for this conflict. World War 2, Civil War and yes the Alamo have been well represented. But not so much AWI.

I agree about no more Alamo or ACW. And not sold in ancients either. I'd like to see him do DAK and 8th Army

I know Nick has always made the point that as a businessman, he needs to do things that make money. I don't know the American market at all - is there a decent interest in the Revolution still?

I know he considered Texas Rangers at one point and I thought with the Johnny Depp movie coming up, they'd work great - then that movie bombed horribly! Nick was probably wise to hold his fire on these.

Given the success of his initial German set, I think the most sellable line would be Falschirmjaegers. These have been done by others but a TSSD set would go really well I think. That's also why I think that Recon set would work - the Germans sell!

The other thing is to maximize the potential of existing ranges. Ideally you have one set that you can produce multiple enemies for. So each time you bring out a new Roman enemy for example, you hopefully sell a bunch of your base line again. Nick has done well to make a few sets work across a range of scenarios - like the gunfighters getting another run in his new Civil War train playset.

I'd like to see WW1, Vietnam War, Falschirmjaegers, 8th Army and XMas (Decima^&grin)

I for one, yet to figure this out, would like to see WWI figures. Why has no one done any of these in nice sculpting? Fantastic group of 1/72 scale have been done, but no 1/32. (AIP don't do it for me in this range). Agree AWI and F&I would be welcome. But also I'd like to see mounted cowboys, for a posse, or for herding cattle, or just riding in the saddle.

Yes not only WW1 but other subjects have some great 1/72 sets as well that never get done in 1/32,should be a law that for every 1/72 set a company produces they have to do the same in 1/32 as well!!

Well, AIP has done a pretty extensive line on world war I; artillery and machine guns and crew would be nice if AIP or anyone would do them. I sent my recommendations to Nick. My thoughts on this are that there are things I would like to see, but I also realize that they have to have mass appeal in order to cover the costs and make a profit. That said I told him he might want to jump on the Korean War bandwagon now that CTS has done so. His existing American GI's from World war 2 could then do double duty, eliminating the cost/expense of a new set of Americans. If not Korean War I told him French and Indian War might be a good money maker. Barzso did a quite extensive line but 3 major problems with them: 1. Very small and thin, albeit well sculpted. 2. A bit expensive. 3. They were limited runs so many of the lines are no longer available. AIP did 4 very good sets but no British figures, although their Rev War British could certainly be used. Still missing are British grenadiers, French militia, Scottish highlanders and more Indians would be welcome. As AIP may have cancelled their projected FIW additions this would likely be a good money maker for TSSD. And of course they could also do double duty for Rev war, Pontiac's rebellion and even Fallen Timbers, Wabash, etc. Just my 2 cents.

I love the TSSD figures but please, have the sculptors look at some books first as in the CW/Indian War lines. Also, cut back on the pistol firing figures. Please limit the left handed barbarians as well. 3 out of 8 figures?

I noticed on the TSSD website under 2015 TSSD figure sets.......April Fools! that the WAR of 1812 was listed several times. My money is on that. What are your thoughts?

Think about it, it is the 200th anniversary of the end of that war. You have American and British regulars Indians and pirates.
