Gentlemen,
Whilst working away on a dio, I was thinking: What would the other K&C collectors choose as their three best Dios?
The three main large ones that I am tolling away at are my three favourite battle eras. (1) Beersheba - Chauvel (2) Tobruk - Morsehead (3) Amiens - Monash.
Sorry that they are all Aussie but thats what I am and very proud of it.
Cheers Howard

I don't do them well, but my best effort is Ancient Egypt. Helps to have all the desert village buildings. The colourful figures brings the whole thing alive, coupled with the extensive range and variety of poses. Like you Howard, I am working on the Aust Light Horse as a future large scale layout.

Howard...

Mine would be the one I am working on at the moment a scene near Lake Ladoga Leningrad for a collector friend

Fort eban emal with a hand built german glider on the grass roof of the turret complex (for myself)

A scene from the Borjac from Band of brothers with the entrenched US troops

Well it is a fine question but is anyone going to share any photos?

That's a tough one because I mix my AFVs and really don't have any exclusive K&C except for my Normandy village. The most recent one has a K&C T-34/85, 2 Figarti Tanks, lots of K&C soldiers, and the ruins of the K&C Reich Chancellery.

The Normandy village is about to be upgraded and eventually will have a few refugees and Hitlers Paris visit car.

My favorite three where:

1. German Paratrooper scene with downed Junkers Ju 52 at Chicago Show 2 or 3 years ago

2. German Train wreck promoting the FFI new series at West Coater Show some 2 or 3 years ago

3. Remagen Bridge at the Chicago Show 2008?

Mine are the ones which I am actually still working on with XXX Corps encountering Germn Resistance on that single road!:D

Arnhem #1 with all the new sets, and I'm hopefully going to get a 1/30th scale Arhem bridge made for it and it has every new Market Garden Set up to date minus the paras with open chutes, the radio jeep, and the Mortar team!:D

Have 4 more, but I have to make it 2: the Winter scene which Tony Neville of K&cuk made me, and the onw I made with one of JG's winter maps which shows an American convoy passing through the American position at the entrance to Bastogne!:D

I am not sure I have a #1 favorite - I love them all - but, here are three different K&C displays from three different periods - Napoleonic, Civil War and Winter Germans - WWII.

Enjoy :D
