Gotta love the way Moms threw out all of our stuff while we were away at college or in the case of my father, in the military. His mother threw out all of his comic books, you know, first edition Superman, Batman, etc, worth a small fortune today...................

GAAHHH!!! What a terrible crime!!! When we moved around, the army set a weight limit as to how much they would pay to move- the rest was on dad and as an enlisted soldier, he didn't have much to spend on frills. So, at least I got to see my stuff go to the trash- I probably walked it out to the corners.

George- maybe you should post some pictures of that set of yours. I'd like to see them. Can't imagine you'll be taking them to shows for display

You know - when I came home and saw that things were disappearing - I realize that the Marx Toy Soldiers, Baseball Cards and my Comic Books had left. I questioned my Mom and said what happen??? She started with the Church sale.....

I went MOM ! HOW COULD YOU DO THAT??

She replied - "You still care about those old things??"

Those words still scar my memories

being a french and indian war buff (still shoot black powder) my dream set is now being assembled month by month, as JJD releases his figures.

I would like to see someone produce this. We made this one out of wood it is supposed to represent the 203mm Russian tracked Howitzer.
A couple of these would help my russian army a lot.

I found a picture of this the other day and the wood one we made just doesnt have enough detail. If KC or fov would produce one it would be outstanding.
