Zulu Wars (1 Viewer)

Well it certainly seems as though there are many book available on the subject to keep me busy for many, many, many months. I think I may start with the Washing of the Spears and then go from there. Perhaps a trip to my local Chapters and see what they have also.

Thanks again gentlemen !!

Forgot to mention one very good book and a personal favorite. "The Red Soldier, Letters from the Zulu War, 1879". Done by Frank Emery, you will find this a trove of outstanding first hand accounts on many aspects. -- lancer

If you like first hand accounts, I have an amazing book called "A Zulu War Diary" by a Lieutenant in Chelmsford's column who participated in the entire campaign (he was off with Chelmsford when Isadlawana and Rorke's Drift occurred, but gives discriptions of what he saw at each location when he arrived there a couple of days later).
