If, and it is a huge if, the Dodgers stay healthy they will win the World Series.

However, as Tony Kornheiser pointed out on PTI most of their projected starting rotation spent time on the IR list last year.

Kershaw, Snell, Glasnow, Yamamoto etc. all missed significant parts of the season.

Indeed, and strangely, the Dodgers are the ONLY MBL team that suffers player injury. The poor unlucky Dodgers just cant stay healthy. Meanwhile every other MLB team carries on without so much as ankle sprain :rolleyes:

The Yankees hit 15 HRs in the first three games using a new "torpedo" or "bowling pin" style bat. Interesting to know what the rules are on altering the bats.

162-0 is still on the table.

We're all pulling for you.

Like people pulled for Microsoft and US Steel back in the day.
At some point the Dodgers will lose a game or maybe two and the naysayers will start saying they are finished. Then it will torpedo bat time and Ohtani will knock a chunk off the moon.

They got over the hump last year and Roberts proved he's not the choke artist everyone thought he was, prior to last year a whopping one WS title during the phony baloney 19 game COVID shortened season playing in front of piped in crowd noise, there are no more naysayers left. The Dodgers and their billion dollar deferred until the end of time payroll will win multiple WS titles now, the AL is a complete joke with no top end team.

The Giants are now technically in first place over the Dodgers despite being a half game behind them in the standings. Weird. They apparently have a higher winning percentage.

The Dodgers lost 2 of 3 to my Phillies but all the games could have went either way.

The Dodgers are 9-2 and the Giants 8-1 so they are tied but the Giants are ahead by percentage. 😁

I am just happy the Giants are competitive when compared to the Dodgers.

The Dodgers are outspending the Giants by over $110mil. .

Keeping pace despite that deficit is impressive.

Romano sucks. That's twice now that he's given up runs and threatened a lead. Ray Romano would pitch better than Jordan.
Sanchez ("Gooney goo-goo!") had a good start, though. It was fun to have switched over from the MLB channel where they were gushing about LA, to see Sanchez fan Ohtani 3 times. Mr. Big Ohtani-sama was 0 for 3 with a walk.
When Castellanos hit his grand slam, you knew seeing and hearing that ball that it was going out. But I said to my dad, "That's great, but they've got 6 more innings to play."
Looking forward now to the Atlanta series starting tomorrow.

Prost!
Brad
