Things that annoy me (7 Viewers)

The attack on the PA governor's mansion was outrageous. If it turns out to be an anti-Semitic act, the perpetrator should never see the light of day. Shapiro is a decent family man and a good person. He is one of the few Democrats that I would ever consider voting for. The police spent an hour patting themselves on the back but it is unacceptable that someone could climb the fence, cross the lawn, enter the building, ignite a fire and escape from the scene. This is like Butler and the NO police-level incompetence all over again.
Could not agree more, they should throw the whole book at this guy, no excuse. Criminal should be prosecuted fully. Shapiro could be President IMO, smartest thing he did was not be the running mate in last election. He seems sensible to me if that is possible for any politician!

According to "X"/link sent to me by my egghead Penn/Wharton School grad; "China calls on Trump to cancel his reciprocal tariffs, return to “mutual respect”............

Or else?

So China wants Trump to drop the reciprocal tariffs..................and they are going to do what exactly?

Yeah; not the way to start a negotiation....................get bent.

People on the left and the right are scared of Shapiro because he is a good honest man.

My opinion is he would be the first moderate in modern time that could win. Question is whether the primary money in his own party would support him. Contrary to the "Press Gospel Opinion", there are a lot of Republicans who would back someone like that behind the voting curtain.

The wild overhype of the Masters golf tournament. Granted, I'm not a fan but it is impossible to escape the coverage.

Kamala was concerned that he would overshadow her and turn off the anti-Semitic elements of her party. That meant certain defeat as Shapiro likely brings home PA and makes the 2024 election a nailbiter. I do wonder if we will ever learn the motive for this attack or if the authorities cover it up like they have done with the two attempts on Trump. So far, so bad. It's incredible to me that we know so little about the Butler shooter almost a year after the fact. I'm not a conspiracy theorist but certain law enforcement agencies and the media are reluctant to report facts that they do not like.

Agree. He would have made her look very bad and would have brought out her incompetence and lack of intellect. That may be my opinion, but I know I am right on her. Her track record, career issues as well as her presentation backs me up. That said, I also agree on the Press. Having a family member entering that world has been eye opening. I will leave it at that, but "if the writing is plain written on a wall, then probably should read it and pay attention". Unfortunately, there are a lot of sheep out there who just drink a lot of kool-aid that is reported on the nightly news.

The fact that Maryland does not have the death penalty.

Yesterday a jury in Maryland found Victor Antonio Martinez-Hernandez of murdering Rachel Morin.

Harford County autopsy results revealed that Morin had endured 15 to 20 blows to the head and had died from a combination of strangulation and blunt-force trauma.

The Columbine school shooting continues to plague us all these years later. Every time around this year we get a school shooting. I think that event with all the publicity let the genie out of the bottle. Many of these current school shooters are copycats. This timeframe also coincides with the Waco and OKC bombings. So all the ghosts are rattling their chains.

Another reason to hate this State. Just BS.

Furthermore, how about Chris Van Hollen visiting El Salvador? Really? good expense of taxpayer money. The individual who was an administrative error......................have you seen the release of his criminal record? 100% Democrat County Prince Georges Police report - identified as gang member. Domestic Violence complaints. Uh Hello??? Maybe it wasn't such an administrative error??

Riddle me this. If you are here illegally, that is a crime. Then, you have instances on your record........crime, misdemeanors, why are you receiving better treatment that a tax paying Citizen? I just cannot understand this. Where does it logically make sense?

2nd Riddle me this. People here on Student Visas. It explicitly states on your paperwork that you are a guest of the Secretary of State AND that you can be removed at any time for any reason. You do not have the rights of a US Citizen, explicitly and implicitly stated in numerous ways. WHY are they getting resources, money, scholarships when our own kids are not? Again, where is the logic in this? I paid full tuition for my son and was happy to do so. I just don't understand our national priorities, why isn't it our folks first. For me, I am applauding at every deportation of a derelict protestor. You want to protest our Country, sorry you do not HAVE that right, US Citizens do.

I gave up trying to understand the logic also. Remember his FAMILY said he was not a gang member. That should be enough to set him free! As you said Tom they are here illegally, end of story.

People who rush out in the aftermath of every shooting to call for gun control laws. Even when the measures that they are seeking would not have had any impact on the event. I'm not opposed to effective gun control laws but what law would keep someone from obtaining their law enforcement parent's gun and using it in a shooting like the recent FSU situation? Murder is already a crime with serious penalties. If that doesn't deter most of these nuts, then almost nothing will.

The market was down another 1000 points today and hardly a mention in the press. It was all about the illegal alien in El Salvador and the Pope. What a world.

The Pope was a Holy man with an important message. It's sad that we care so much about worldly riches. They draw our attention away from the big picture.

There are only two playoff quality teams in the NBA eastern conference. Boston and Cleveland. I can't remember any year when the pool was so terrible. The western conference has a much deeper pool of teams.

If only he had actually done something. Maybe when Joe Biden came calling and he told him that he was excommunicated for his position on abortion. Didn't happen. Just another placeholder holding court.

I am a huge 2A advocate, I vote 100% based on it.

However, one thing that I like to see is the prosecution of parents that do not secure their firearms from children under the age of 18.

Granted in this case it would not have mattered considering the shooter’s age. However, it is every firearm owners’ responsibility (law enforcement or not) to secure their weapons especially when mental illness is a realistic issue.

I would also like to see the death penalty invoked in convictions related to mass shootings.

The recent plea deal in the El Paso Walmart shootings was a miscarriage of justice. If you kill 23 people you need to die.

amen brother. I am also tired of criminal acts immediately being "transferred" to law abiding gun holders and carriers. The overwhelming majority of the guns owned in America are owned and used lawfully, it is not even close.

CNN report today that "Trump chickens out" is trending on social media and claiming he is backing down on the tariffs. They then cut to the clip. Trump says he is playing hard ball with China. CNN moves on.

The plea deal that Highland Park mass shooter Robert Crimo just received.

He killed seven people from a rooftop during a July 4th parade in 2022.

He not only escaped the death penalty but he also used state laws to avoid being present during victim impact statements.

Unbelievable.
