Things that I really like (3 Viewers)

He played a heck of a game at 40 plus years old. Unfortunately, the Lakers have no size. The trade that fell through is killing them. They are putting a guard in the lane and MN is just driving to the hoop and getting offensive rebounds. Not great for the NBA that players are slipping all over the court and fans are blowing whistles in the stands.
I'm amazed the Celtics won the title last year with basically no KP during the playoffs, no rim protection at all, the game has totally changed, not what it used to be when big men were super important.

Walter Googins' Baby Billy character on Righteous Gemstones. I've said it before but he is comedy gold. Every single word is hilarious. Even upstaging a spider monkey named Dr. Watson smoking a cigarette. No easy task.

Nice to see the Cavs and Celtics moving on, they need to meet in the Eastern Conference Finals.

I really don't like our chances, the team is already pretty beat up with Holiday and Brown dealing with injuries, might be the Cadavers year, they've led the East wire to wire.

I'm just glad to be done with Orlando, they play a ****ty brand of basketball, zero outside shooting, so they mug/grab/hold/tackle on every defensive possession and turn every offensive possession into Stalingrad.

It's on to Detroit/New York, which is shaping up to be a 7 game war.

Game 7’s in the Stanley Cup Playoffs.
"THE JETS WIN IT!".........words rarely said in New York.

Unbelievable.

Anyone who's a sports fan in general and does not watch hockey, specifically playoff hockey, is really missing out.

Two empty net goals, one with 1.6 seconds left, poor Binnington, he had no shot at any of the three goals, he stood on his head all game long.

Sorry Gary, that one's going to leave a mark, but sadly, that's playoff Monty for you.

I've seen that movie before.

Watching the facial expression and body language of the Mayor of DC as she somehow ended up standing behind Trump while he discussed possibly reopening Alcatraz and paying illegal aliens to leave. I'm guessing she is not onboard for that. She wants that federal money, though.

George I was just getting ready to post about that game last night. That is one that will remain forever in disappointing endings. Just as I turned to my wife and said "there going to win" The Jets score with 1.6 seconds to go. From that point on I knew the Jets would win. All year long the Blues would give up goals when the opposition pulls their goalie so last night was no surprise in the scheme of things. Can't blame Monty or Binnington. Monty turned this team completely around. My observation was in the final minutes with the goalie pulled as soon as the Blues got control of the puck they would immediately ice it. If they would have taken a few strides and looked for an out let pass or just hold on to it to kill some time that might have made the difference.

That was brutal......................the Bruins were the same type of team, led the league in empty net goals allowed under Monty, they lost game 7 to Florida with 30 seconds left..........on an empty net goal.

And yes, icing the puck does not work, as you said, get control and work it down the ice.

That sucked, sorry for you as I know what a huge hockey fan you are.
