I agree that they are a bit less in detail - are they much earlier than WS 1 set?




... or early AK sets?




These do appear to be superior quality - but Russians are Russians ...

These are later and pretty good IMO.

The earliest Russians were released around 2000, those other sets were from 1996-1998.

Thanks Louis. I am surprised they were not earlier. I wonder if the bulky coats may have a bit to do with it? They do look Russian though.

The Russian sets came out at the same time as IWJ11, the Iwo Sherman. I initially purchased them and then returned them because I really didn't think they were up to K&C's standards.

I agree Mike. I shall post some Figarti pictures elsewhere. Here the SAS have an AK prisoner, but they are right in amongst trouble .....
