Was watching it on TPTV that was on a few days ago, unfortunately only available on catch up for a few days after broadcast and in UK and Ireland,
I couldn't find thisparticular episode on YouTube.

Whilst not entirely on Toy Soldiers, it did give a brief look into the 1960s production of plastic Soldiers and another visit to Film Star, Peter Cushings home and his collection of Toy Soldiers, as I've seen a similar visit on other vintage footage.

So whilst I can't put a link to the actual programme, I've attached a couple of photos from a website.

Last pic is Cushing firing ping pong balls up at a model aircraft, suspended from the ceiling, which when hit, released a toy soldier parachutist !
I remember seeing those ping pong guns in toy shops in the Sixties, but never had enough pocket money to buy one, does anyone else remember them, or perhaps even had one !?

Terrific nostalgia pics there Steve, I can't recall seeing those ping pong guns in Australia, they do have a space age look that would have appealed to kids in that era, personally I never grew out of my fascination for Space Science.

Great to see a famous horror actor playing on the carpet with his Toy Soldiers, good for him for coming out of the TS (Toy Soldier, not Trans Sexual ha ha) Closet. I still confine my TS collection to my converted garage, I call it my War Room, no Fighting allowed there ;)

The 1960s were full of Space Age toys, Robots were everywhere, then there were Major Matt Mason and all the amazing accessories like the Space Scooter, or whatever its actual name was, bendy Action figures with the wire inside, great until the wire broken and he just flopped about !
Thunderbirds were another great line, loved T2 with its pod with T4 inside ! I think they still make those, yhey certainly still trot out the original show still every so often.

Love Thunderbirds. Check out Stingray as well.
Dad loved his old space toys. Those are long gone but he can still describe them all!
Best Wishes from across the pond,
Paddy

Yes, our favourite toys from childhood always stay in our hearts even if we no longer have them, I remember having a Johnny Seven, a huge toy gun which fired missles, grenades and a few other things, all none lethal plastic of course !
As is so often with many of us, all were throw out by the time we get to our teens !

Oh yes, I well remember Stingray and then there was Captain Scarlet too !

I don't remember the earlier Supermarionation series made by Gerry Anderson, like Fireball XL5, or the currently bring repeated on TPTV, even earlier Supercar but I'm sure they're bringing back good memories to those that do.
Whether the earlier ones made their way overseas I don't know, but I do remember some of the shows that made it here, like Casey Jones, Champion the Wonder Horse, Skippy of course from Australia and though I don't remember the name, one set in the Wilderness of Canada I thinkIt was, anyone remember that one ?

Steve, that TV series set in Canadian wilderness was most likely The Forest Rangers, one of my favs from that era.
