Big Spooner dabbled in anything that could make him a buck. Cattle, land, and mining were just a few of his exploits. He lost the rights to Cactus Corral but his hope that the Rusty Spoons Mine would one day be "spit'n out more nuggets than nickels from a Liberty Bell slot machine" would surprisingly come true. Unfortunately, the "mother load" of silver was dead middle in the heart of town.
What did Big Spooner do?
He purchased the entire Town of Rusty Spoons and had it moved. Good Ol' Spooner was smiling all the way to the bank; and by the way, he owned that too.
I spent the better half of yesterday morning moving my coffee table western town to a bookshelf in another room. Unfortunately, the bookshelf is not as as large and I had to lose the saloon and windmill because of the height. Population of Rusty Spoons is now sitting at 12 as the townsfolk have to resettle to the new location.
Rumor has it that the Earp Brothers are heading out west as well as the Clanton Gang. Will Rusty Spoons Boom Again? It may or may not, but one thing is for certain, there is sure to be trouble coming soon to Rusty Spoons!
