Agree wholeheartedly with base statement. Here is another issue that burns me - Lebanon is controlled by the Iranians, so you can't say you want a cease fire and continue to attack Israel. What do you think Israel is going to do??? And you have an idiot channel on tv saying Israel are the bad guys. I mean do they actually think anyone with a brain believes that crap. I get so sick of the blatant and I am going to call it what it is - ANTI SEMITISM that is constantly espoused overtly, veiled, etc. And you wonder why there are some that want Iran bombed to the stone age, Iran leadership are like roaches, the only way to rid them is to literally rid them. They are never going to want to coexist with anyone. The reason they want those US Bases gone is so they can go back to threatening and bullying their neighbors. Couldn't agree more, the whole antisemitism rhetoric is tiresome and oh soooo predictable. In saying that the ceasefire deal was never going to hold-up anyway and at best was little more than a facade.

I see know Islamic based militia's from Iraqi, Afghanistan and now Pakistan have answered Iran's call for assistance and now entered the country to help the republican guard suppress any ideas of a popular uprising.........things just got a whole lot worse for the Iranians opposed to the 'new' Islamic regime.

Iran's 10 point plan has a lot of polar opposites than the US 15 point plan...

the "cease fire" is still firing...not on Iran...but just today as Israel has already struck Lebanon with it's largest wave ever...

and the passage of further tankers “was halted” because of Israel’s fresh strikes on Lebanon...

this is not off to a good start...

Predictably, many of those who were claiming Trump was about to commit a war crime are now complaining that he capitulated to Iran by not bombing them. It would be humorous in any other context. One of the pundits on MSNBC or whatever they call themselves was claiming that if the downed US pilot was a woman instead of a man that the Trump administration would not have tried to rescue her. That level of insanity is hard to square with anything other than the effect of some type of PSYOP mind virus.

but a friend of mine came up with an interesting thought the other day...

and while I know nothing about nautical real estate...

as the Straight's east border in on Iran's side...
and the Straights western border is on other Arab nations side...
maybe their is some rule on easement of who owns what side of the waterways in the Straight...

him suggesting mines might could only be placed on Iran's side of the Straight's waterway legally...

now the term "legally"...probably doesn't mean much during a war...as Iran is targeting anybody they want...

but...just food for thought...

It is an international strait under global maritime law, no one owns the rights to any part of it, which is why Iran "closing it" is a direct violation of international maritime law, they have about as much right to close it as the man on the moon.

And BTW, it's now "closed" thanks to Israel bombing Lebanon and violating the cease fire, which in and of itself is comical, Iran never agreed to a cease fire, Trump is the one who called off wiping Iran off the face of the earth.

The Iranians presented a 10 point plan, things like paying war reparations to them, the US pulling out of many of their bases in the middle east, Israel no longer attacking....oh sorry, defending themselves against countries in the middle east................that plan was tossed in the garbage.

The US has a 15 point plan, things like giving up their uranium and ceasing their missile program and other things that Iran will never agree to.

All this is is a two week pause before the war starts up again; and don't be fooled by the market "rebounding"; once the sh$t hits the fan again, the market will once again tank.

The Iranians are taking ships around the area where they laid all the mines, are charging tankers 1.00 a barrel, a tanker holds 2 million barrels, so that's 2 million in extortion they are charging to use the strait.

Supposedly it was JD Vance and China that brokered this cease fire if you want to call it that.

Vance will be the one sitting in on the negotiations; ironic that China stepped in and talked Iran into this, China needs the oil and for things to calm down so they can peddle their goods around the world, the same country that supplied Iran with the technology to build an atomic bomb AND the weapons they are using to fight back against the US and Israel.

The Chinese really are something else.
