LAH pics? (1 Viewer)

Thanks KV

While the subject matter may not be to everyone's taste you have to admit it does make for a stunning display :)

How do you resize a photo? Would love to post my LAH pics but keeps saying file is to large and to resize manually.

Hi Spick, nice display you have there. Off forum photo websites such as imageshack will allow you to post larger photos.

I finally got around to taking some pix of my modest LAH collection. The photos are dark as it's overcast outside today and I can't brighten the images because the free Adobe photo program I recently downloaded doesn't have that capability - unless you pay to upgrade it  It will soon be adios to Adobe and back to Photoshop ;)

The recent K & C Kreigsmarine figures and large Eagle etc are very well detailed pieces but I'm not into large groups of marching figures, bands etc so this group of random figures pictured will do me as a representation of that era.

I deleted the Adobe photo program and have gone back to the original photo program which is Microsoft Office Picture Manager and not Photoshop as I believed.

Anyhow, I just had a fiddle with the brightness etc and cropped a pic to zoom in on the captured French guy set. You can also see a couple of Delprado figures on the other side of the Citroen, the Muslim SS K & C collector figure is standing at the rear of the car.

At the back of the pic and just left of center you may be able to pick out Reinhard Heydrich http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Reinhard_Heydrich

Apart from the leader of the band (Hitler) I reckon Heydrich was the worst of a bad lot because he was an intelligent and talented person that no doubt had the abilities to pursue a more virtuous life if he desired.

Heydrich is depicted in the K & C assassination set.

Thanks guys. If you like the LAH serires, check out the CS Hitler Youth series. I have 3 of the sets and they are awesome. Larger than the K&C versions, but you can pretend they are Uber Germans and be fine. But the pieces are great in their detail. I dare say comparable to K&C's.

Nice pics. Would love to get those lamp posts. Just got a new mold that should do the trick:D

I'm getting better. Here are some close-ups.

HI Spick, I haven't seen the CS Hitler Youth figures in person but if they are really 1/24 scale I reckon most buyers would go for the K & C versions. I don't have any Hitler Youth figures myself as I find them just that bit to confronting.

Edit: Hey Spick, you have got the picture thing working well now. I thought about getting the Krupp truck but would prefer to wait for a military styled version rather than that parade vehicle. Are the figures removable?

Yes the figures are removeable. To be honest it is not my favorite of the LAH pieces and unless you really like these sets I would pass and like you wrote wait on another version. I am really a fan of these sets, because of the colors and poses. But I do understand the other side of the argument.

Here is a pic of the comparative size of the K&C and CS figures.

Yes they are but I guess they would be about right for older Hitler Youth maybe 17 or so. Don't know what the cut off age for those guys would have been. Not too bad really if you think of it like that.
