Hmmm....I'm already getting a little excited about the prospects of a new Tiger. What do you reckon the chances are?!

My birthday's at the beginning of May as well, so I could see those two coinciding very nicely. Fingers firmly crossed at this end!!

Cheers,

Molloy.

Mostly anxious to see if any more retirements are announced for Napoleonics and I am poised to get what needs getting.

Quite true - even if it isn't exactly what you were expecting/hoping for, there's very rarely a month where at least one new release or series doesn't strongly catch the eye.

Today is the 27th, so I suppose it's respectable to start the speculation about May's Dispatches!

Cheers,

Molloy.

Yes Molloy i was trying to show restraint and hold off for a day or two..but now Johns done it for me!;).

Yep every month theres something to want!.In the last dispatches we had the Big Red 1 figures and a new Sherman which both look cool.Maybe be the Horch will be unveiled next?

These new DDay items are part of the reason I'm deciding to skip the Bulge at this point. Just cannot do both, and am unable to pass on the Normandy stuff. How do you reckon the upcoming Sherman stacks up against previous versions? I've heard there have been something like 8 prior versions.

If it's got Gary's (binder) seal of approval, then it's alright with me :)

Going to have to think hard about the Sherman, but the 1 figures are a definate.

I just cannot contain myself, I have it from the zebras mouth, K and C are going to go for it. Yes Yes there next big range is wait for it.
The Circus Range
Yes Yes

In that case, when I grow up, I want a pony. :)

Don't have any of the prior Shermans so I can't pass this one up. If the newer AFVs are any indication it should be great on details.

I'm Hoping For The Tiger To Be Unvailed, And Maybe A Few More D-day Items To Take Us Into June, Can't Wait, Christmas In May,who Says There Is A Recession Ha!!!!!!!!..sammy

Yeah, but how many Napoleonic ponies have they made?

And now I hear they're bringing out circus ponies.

I'm sure this over production of horses will ruin the collecting market :p

Was my post somehow perceived as being sarcastic or something, because I assure you that was not intended. Was simply asking what those of you who own many of the previously released Sherman's think of this one in comparison as I may want to get one.

Just kidding MD

And regarding your query about the Sherman I can assure you that K & C only get better so the later molds tend to be better detailed - early wooden versions excluded.

I hear you on that.I collect both and its difficult keeping up.However this new Sherman looks like its very good and i like the idea of being able to swap loads, this will make it useful in dio situations.I am also looking forward to seeing the track detail on this new tank as K&C have just got better and better in this dept lately.

As the resident Shermanoholic I posted some comments right after the new M4A1 "classic Sherman" was announced. See;

I'd always be glad to give more opinions on Sherman!

Gary i have a question regarding Shermans.Could a Sherman knock out a Tiger by attacking from the rear where the Tigers armour was not as strong?.And can anyone tell me the armour thickness at the rear of the Tiger?.Thanks in advance
