Ok,if you had to pick one model with which to persuade someone of the quality and realism that K&C are famous for, what would you go for?.

Rob

I really like the DD30 Priest and the Tunisian Tiger SL.

2 of my favorites.

the normandy panther or the Meyer halftrack are hard to beat. superb work.

Single Figure: The glider pilot from the Market Garden MG015 set.

Tunisian is something else, isn't it, I like it even better than the Winter Tiger. Rob, even though the pond separates us, great minds think alike!

The one knock on the Tunisian Tiger is that is does have the wrong markings/insignia. So if by "realism" that is what you mean - then I would pick something else. It's one of the nicer looking KC tanks though.

Combat,

I always defer to you guys who know the markings, etc much better than I and I understand your point. I would say though throw out the markings, that Tunisian is very realistic from a design/lifelike point of view don't you think?

Tom

If it's tanks you're talking about, something like the new Stug or the Panzer IV is impressive. If it's figures, some from the recently issued Big Red One. If planes are included, that's what I would pick, something like the Swordfish or the Avenger.

So many to vehiicles, how to pick:confused:. I guess it would depend on how well I knew the person and what their interest were. Some people might be turned off collecting a particuler theatre of operations or a certain country so here's my short list:eek:.

NA fan definitely go with the AK Tunisian Tiger. (although that new Crusader may unseat this item)

American Normandy fan go with the monster SPG great figures to accompany the vehicle.

Buldge American fan winter Chaffee

Bulge German fan love that Flakpanzer

Don't have any British vehicles (as yet) so I'll defer to my comrades across the pond;)

I would choose the Russian T-34. Very detailed, weathered and interesting.

Vehicle set - Tunsian Tiger (with tank riders)
Figure set - DD96 "Over There" The grizzeled NCO pointing to something in the distance for the "new guy"

NAPOLEON ! - Of Course :D :D :D

NA 26 - Mounted Napoleon with Mameluke Servant ! ;)

I'll suggest CRW002, but really any of these guys would do. Simply marvelous looking figures.

Not a collector of Crusades, but what about MK051 "Fight to the Death" or MK050 "Gruesome Trophy Set"? Or how about any of the D-Day beach Rangers? As for vehicle, my pick is also the Tunisian Tiger, I own and love it.

For me it would be BBG002 although there are a lot of good ones that series:

I would go with the new Sherman and the new U.S. tank crew for realism and accuracy, along with one of the new Warbirds, probably the Hawker Typhoon or the Mark IX Spitfire.

I would have to say T-34. Got the Russian and Tunisian Tiger tank in the same delivery , and it was the russian tank that caught my wife's interest for wow factor. Figurewise almost any of the fall of berlin series:)
