Guys,

The Shermans are ready. I have pictures of the green camo, the bicolor one, and the winter. I also have images of the accessories, the crews and the scene sets.

I made a few pages for you to go through the possibilities at:

http://www.beau-geste.com/HonourBound/GoldEdition/Sherman/index.htm

The general conditions are the same as Tiger I and Sturmtiger: same basic price. I'll quote accessories and any other requirements one by one, since there are many possibilities, and you always manage to find something new ;)

Hope you like them :)

Wow! that Sherman with the foilage camo looks great. I really don't know alot about honour bound so forgive me when I ask if the winter version has a winter foilage camo available?

The foilage camo looks superb, very nice job indeed Ana.

Rob

anybody else having problems seeing the pics or accesing the beau geste link?

Nice looking site. Howeve, am I to assume there is no Desert Sherman (8th Army) Ana as this would necessitate changing the crew, etc. Bummer if there is isn't. Other choice then becomes Alex

I like the foliage camoflage. Would it fit the original HB Sherman, and is it sold separately?

As one of the resident "Shermanoholics" I feel compelled to make comments.

The model is a BEAUTY! Nice Job Ana, my compliments to the boys in the shop.

In technical terms what we have here is an M4A1 75mm middle-late production. This tank with its applique armor (the "patches" on the sides) would be correct from early 1944 on to the end of the war. This type of tank was very common in the combat in Normandy, especiallly in the 2nd and 3rd Armored Divisions. They also appeared in other armored divisions (4th, 5th, 6th, 7th) and separate tank battalions.

I really like the foliage camouflage! The US Army used this commonly in Normandy and at other times in Europe in Italy. The British used some of these in Europe and some M4A1s like this appeared in the Pacific with Army units - so there are a lot of possibilities.

Nice bunch of junk for the tank and for the back deck. I'm curious about the price for one of these with crew, some stowage and the foliage camouflage?

As to the question about a "desert Sherman" - unfortunately that's one area that this tank doesn't belong in. The features on this tank mark it as being after North Africa or Sicily or even the early Italian campaign. The K&C M4A1 is still closer to a desert vehicle. This one is perfect for later campaigns.

Thanks Honour Bound for this nice model.

Gary B.

Gary,

Thanks for pointing that out. I will probably now ask Alex to "customize" one.

Wow! Those look absolutely fantastic.

Great job Ana and the Boyz :)

I think the Normandy version with foilage would look real good with the K&C Tank riders.

Rob

Thank you all, guys! :)

Sahara: Yes, the foliage camo can be winterized for the winter version.

Sorry, Brad, this version that the boyz went for doesn't include the desert option. The boyz decided for this one because it would accept different camo versions and modifications. Maybe the next one.

No Louis, sorry. The foliage camo is only sold as an accessory for the Gold edition.

Ana

Nice work boyz.
When will they become available Ana?
Bill

Bill,

They are already available to order with the same method than the Tiger and Sturmtiger. Dealers already have the information. Treefrog Treasures already featured the Honour Bound Gold Edition Sherman M4A1 75 mm

If you have any questions, comments, or special requirements you know that you can contact me any time :)

Will we be able to order a desert Sherman or a South African Sherman at all. There are quite a number of Normandy and Bulge Shermans out but still no desert Sherman.
Regards
Damian

I suppose you could do it but it wouldn't be historically correct. I wonder, though, if any were used in the 1948 Israeli war. That might be interesting.

At any rate, I've just shot of a pm to Alex, inquiring about customizing one of the recent K & C Shermans. Sorry, Anna, but I have no choice if I want to get a Desert Sherman.

So, I guess Andy won't be doing any British N. Africa Sherman's soon.
