How about a poll to abolish polls? Most of them are useless or to help marketing. I hate them. Leadmen
Well according to this poll, that is a minority view. Again, if you don't like them just ignore them; how does that hurt?

I guess I should have explained it better. I don't like some polls that seem irrelevant. For example," I want a one eye German General:)." Other polls are ok but I also would like to see something other then wants. I would like to see grading polls on the quality of all companies ' releases. Like excellent to poor. With higher prices we should grade all releases. John

That is a great idea John. Why don't you start one of those.

I don't care one bit how anoying polls are.

Evidently mate.
But I'm sure all these endless polls can actually be an absolute pain in the neck for some manufacturers of Toy Soldiers. You know, all the why can't we have this, why can't we have that. Maybe better if we were to just wait and see what we're going to be fed next month. Or next century in the case of Conte releases.

Cheers

Ooops! Sorry have i annoyed people, didn't mean to,it was just a bit of light relief.

Rob

I wouldn't worry about it Rob. A little bit of light relief is always welcome. I think what was meant is that some of our fellow members;

a) are simply getting fed up of polls.

b) find your excellent pieces of satire a bit difficult to understand on occasion.

I'm quite sure your original and very funny post didn't annoy anyone in the slightest. If so, then Brad would surely have advised you.

Cheers

Just in case, I have tended to avoid bell towers lately. Never know what forum member might be up there...:D

Good thing my church doesn't have one or I'd have to keep checking it!

I guess they could be but frankly I would think they either ignore them or just take them as another source of market information, to be valued as they see fit. Maybe it is the libertarian or iconoclast side of me but I don't see the point of restricting what people want to post. No one makes anyone else read what they do not want to after all. Oh well sermon over now.;):eek: That said, I enjoyed Rob's humor on this.;):D

Thank you Spitfrnd and Harry. It really was just a wind up and it made me smile to see so many vote on my absurd list of choices!.Bell towers across the world are no longer safe Peter;).A wonderful thing about this forum is that you can share your love of your Hobby and have a laugh as well.Oh and you get to read Dispatches as well!

The only regret I have is that you didn't make it a "public" poll;) That way we would know who was thinking about bell towers:D I wonder if I should admit that was my choice:rolleyes::D:D

I don't know anything about setting up polls. I guess I will wait for some more polls. Maybe a one-eye German Eastern Front General? :) John

Now that is a horse of a different color. Frankly when I think of Eva, I think of other things than we generally discuss on these forums.;):D

I love polls as much as the next guy, but we seem to be getting carried away with these things, just look at the first page of k&c threads, it's almost nothing but old polls, new polls, here a poll, there a poll, lets give it a break....sammy
