only three items on the WWII list the rest appear to be Romans, etc..... Glad I don't have to play catch up since I already have the 3 WWII sets being retired.

I spoke to soon....looks like I will have to play a little catch up after all. They just added a load of WWII items to the retirements, to many to list.

Hi Rob,

I thought i'd have problems explaining them away just in my office!:D.I agree with you that it really is a unique set and they always look good hanging over the dio's at the London shows.Any chance this set may tempt you into D Day stuff Rob?;)

I,d be sorely tempted , Fiscal restraint is the name of the game .
It will be interesting to see what comes out at chicago show time .

As much as I enjoy seeing all the new stuff coming out
I think its good to be able to take a step back , it has made
me focus on what I realy like in this hobby .
So in a collecting sence i,ve almost come full circle , to what I liked when I had a ltd budget as a kid. [now if only someone will make gurhkas like the airfix ones i,ll be home and hosed]
cheers Rob

UGH !

I am on the fence about those paratroops being retired.

I want to buy them - but, want to get into deep with WWII

Still waiting on checks to come in - see I am working man's lobbyist ;)

LOL ! :p

NAPOLEONICS STOP - EVERYONE BETTER RUN FOR COVER !!

Yes - On the WWII releases I am ever so close of caving in :D

Interesting to note - I once had bought the Desert Vickers (EA 16) and the Field Marshal Alexander (EA 11) together at one time. When they came the size difference was too much for me !

EA 16 Vickers was 1/32 and the EA 11 Alexander was 1/30

I ended up selling them both off and really didn't look at the EA again.

Now, with the Crusader and the Ambulance & Stretcher Party - I am getting pulled again.
