Complaint, Complaint and MORE Disapointments (1 Viewer)

Hello! :) My Statement , was NOT saying that K&C, HB,CS, and Figarti, Company, hasn't made Quality Toys for last Year 2008! But, to the Guy's who Complaint , that they're didn't get the Toys, what they Expected! Saying , "Quote", that This Year 2009 will be a Very hopefully , GREAT Year for our Expectations, from MOST of the Toy Companies! Just like Saying , I didn't like my Christmas Present's,and I didn't get what I Really Expected, maybe a Fine Cigar, or a Hot Tub, or a Great Massage? "Capice" "Are you Talkin to Me" OOH!:D

Still having problems with what you mean here mate.I enjoy your want lists time and time again but what is it you are trying to say.Nothing last year was what you wanted. You bought no WW2 things last year .You want a hot tub or would love a massage I don't get it.John list the things in WW2 you did buy last year and you will be surprised.I have a list full of things I wanted to buy but couldn't.I think I got Three sets last year and loved them all.John I would love to see a photo of your collection as I too love the WW2 line.Simmo.:):)

I think John is a very enthusiastic collector of WW2 there's no doubt about it.Its just that much of what he says gets lost in translation,i for one think we WW2 collectors are very well catered for right now.We have lots of choice in figures,Tanks and now even planes are starting to make an appearance.I know prices are going up everywhere, but in terms of choice and quality i think we are still in the golden age.I am very much looking forward to the summer this year to see what's heading for Normandy.:)

After analyzing Johns last post I believe he is saying that in 2009 he wants a message, while smokeing a cigar, in a hot tub, on Christmas, by someone named Capice.
That,s my interpatation, what,s yours!
Gary

I would love to see a list of what JG actually bought. Like an inventory of sorts.

All the requests and rants are bit tedious. When enough attention isn't paid in a request section, he complains in a general forum.

So, what do you say JG? Are you going to post a list of your 2008 purchases?

Great job, that just about nailed it, I got the same thing after peeling away the 4,000 layers of the onion otherwise known around here as a post from John.

As Gideon said, I'd love also to see an inventory of what John bought in 2008; of the 4,972 lists he's compiled, I am pretty sure several of his wants were done this year by crowd favorites K & C, Figarti and Collectors Showcase...................

Just thought I would share this website: timberlinescenery.com They make trees and other diorama products. I saw them at a show in November and just recently got some. Nice product and very reasonable.
Here is another much more reasonable option than $20 / tree. SceneryExpress has wide diversity and seemingly nice greenery are very reasonable prices. Here for example are 6 3" trees for $13.

Only problem is though that is a mature tree in HO scale which in real life would be 21ft, convert that back to 1:32 the same tree would have to be about 8" high

Yeah they are too small for 54mm.I like trees 8"-12"

If you look through the site, there are plenty at 7" +, still very reasonably priced. Might have a look at these. Thanks for the link Bill.
