I would love to see some more Afrika Korp releases, as it rivals Battle of the Bulge as my favorite series. But, what do you guys think it would be? An 88 would be at the top of my wishlist, but that's unlikely.

KV, don't tease me about an M-26 Pershing. I'll cry the day K&C releases that.

well I guess unlike you Samurai, the majority of the guys look very forward to the new stuff coming out and we also like to think Andy is taking in some of the discussions or ideas to heart, kinda makes me feel like I'm in the decision process (a wee bit) and it's just kinda neat to guess what's coming out next, and I truly love those WWII germans!!!...Sammy

I like them Germans too mate - more than many here I bet I appreciate the subtle differences in units, uniforms and weapons between different releases - they're not just more gray jackets and funny nameless camo to me... but after a while, even I can only take so many Germans that are done in the same timeless K&C style. The Luft last month were a nice change of pace, but you can only pull that card (a different branch of the military) two times.

I started this thread only because i enjoy talking about the hobby and hearing what others have to say,its not meant to p*** anybody off.

I don't think its a dig at you Rob, CS is just stating the obvious in that there will probably be Germans released in this months dispatches. But then again if there were no Germans people would only complain - Andy loses whichever way!
However I think it's 8th Army month so CS could well be wrong!

In case i missed your first post,welcome to the forum!.

You are spot on in that Andy can't really win.Whatever he releases someone will be unhappy-it sure must get tiresome listening to the moans sometimes!.I also think you maybe right about the 8th Army,Feb normally sees the release of something for North Africa.

Speaking of mata hari, did anybody see the gal that played mata hari in the young indiana jones episode. What a beauty. As for retirements, i believe you could see the ak 105 or the lrgd trucks go bye bye.. It would be nice to see some commonwealth troops come into play as one of my favorite sets was the earlier aussie set of 4 infantry. Maybe a normandy demag 1 ton could be in the works

Second that Brother as I have been waiting a long time for that one & my Forces of Valor version just does not cut it! A nice M29 Weasel (Bulge version of course) would also be great! Does the picture on the bottom right look familiar? The beast is from the 7th Armored in Verviers Belgium on the way to the Battle of the Bulge. Enjoy.

Why would an 88 be unlikely ? Has K&C released any before ?

At present, I dun collect WWII .. but if K&C were to release an 88 in its classic configuration, I will make my first WWII purchase.

Nice set up Martyn,i have this set and its a K&C Classic.It was only last year we got the truck mounted 88 so it might well be a while before the next one.
