Trophy AZW Set 10A (1 Viewer)

Fellow Men of Harlech,
I WON, I WON, I WON!!! I will be sure to post this intriguing set on Martyn's AZW-Trophy thread and quell the mystery...hopefully. It cost me a pretty penny, but about average of what these beauties are going for.
Mike

Nice one.

Well done it's gone to a good home;)

Cheers

Martyn:)

Hi Lt,

At the end of the day, what matters is that the figures are bona fide Trophy of Wales.

Someone is going to be the proud owner of this set, but only after having paid quite a sum.

Cheers, Raymond.

Hi Mike,

Congrats. Well done on taking both 10A & 1A.

Raymond;).

Fellow Men of Harlech,
I got my 10ZA acquisition the other day. Indeed it states 13th Regiment on the box. Inside, we find.... good old 2nd Warwickshire lads at the charge, with valise gear and packs on. Now this was unusual in that the valise pack were usually not carried on campaign but rather in the company/regimental wagon... The interesting item is the officer's shako plate, which looks different than the ORs.
All to say, I am now the proud owner of the set with a typo error on the box.
C' est la vie!
Mike

Mike,

It is a great set !! Much ado about the label.

I would say it is a great purchase from David Hazell, who is one of the best dealers around.

This was my first Trophy Zulu War set which I purchased in London some 5 years back.

Enjoy !!

Nice one Mike

I believe I have an Officer with the same shako plate, I will attempt to find him later. I am just off to a large Militaria Fair in Stoneleigh and will be off-line for most of the day.

Cheers

Thanks and kudos right back at the Jacobite set! The 10za set was from a collector going Little Legion full bore! Viva la Trophy!
No offense occasioned at all when discussing Trophy!
