Guys-
I recently purchased the K & C American Revolutionary War Cannon set. After it arrived, I found only one thing I didn't like. The figure with the portfire had a backpack on, which I didn't want. Annoyingly, the backpack on the figure had no corresponding straps on the front of the figure. I have found this common on all K & C AWI figures, except two of the militia releases.

Anyway, I removed the backpack from the figure and molded cross straps for the cartridge box and bayonet frog. This is my first attempt at sculpting, so let me know what you guys think.

Sorry if the pics are a little blurry, as I'm not the best photographer. I used Squadron green putty for this modification.

Looks pretty good, Noah, pretty clean, and cleanly done. Good job!

Prost!

To be honest if you hadn't have said anything I wouldn't have noticed, looks just great.

Thanks for the comments guys. It is always nice to get feedback from others. I hope that if I try this again, the final result will be a little more smooth. I think some more sanding before painting would help:)

Looks great to me! I don,t know what the figure looked like before with the backpack but I wouldn,t have noticed anything being altered on the figure so I guess it came out great?:D

Hey Noah!
Great job! Like the others I would not have noticed, other than to say that the guy with the cleaning rod was my pick. I like your conversion better than the factory figure...The colors look better! Were there redheads in the
1770's?
