Re: Yikes!!! What happens when the wife finds out what your "09" K&C spending budget
I agree in one sense that you should tell your spouse everything. Most the time I do but in this case there was just to much that came out that I wanted. Besides no harm no foul in my opinion. The bill came and was paid asap, the purchases didn't set us back.
Besides let me tell you two recent examples of her opinion on telling each other what we bought. Instead of hiding what is bought my wife will just go out and buy what she wants. I came home one day and she tells me out of the blue "I bought a tanning bed. Its in the basement go hook it up". Not once did she mention to me that she was slightly interested in a tanning bed. I never even had a chance to drop my two cents about the idea. The other occassion was when I came home and saw my dog in the back yard barking at a Golden Retreiver. I thought my wife may had found this dog wandering in the street and was holding it until animal control came but that wasn't the case. Yup, she bought it w/o asking. Needless to say I'm on double doggie dootie patrol every Mon, Weds and Fri. I guess I should have just used her tactics and went out and bought everything and placed them infront of her and said "yup, I bought all this whatcha gonna do about it" but you know as well as I do that would never fly because its ok for her but not me......even though the tanning bed and dog came out of my check book.
