Is the Bishop coming to tea!! (1 Viewer)

Or maybe as Terry has suggested the Sexton?

Canadian built for the Brits, Canuks and Poles. It replaced the Bishop with its 105 mm howitzer on an M3 Lee chassis due to logistical problems with 105 mm ammo. The Sexton had a British 25 pounder gun on a Canadian built Grizzly (Sherman) chassis. However, their first use was in Italy, but a Canadian Sexton would still be welcome. (no bias here :D)

If it was the Bishop it would be great as then we'd have that and the forthcoming Priest. But Hey i'd be happy with two M7's too:)

Personally, I would be happier with a Bishop AND a Priest. Only so much $$$.

The Bishop was the first 1/72 tank (after the Sherman i admit) i assembled!!!I was always fascinated with these "Big Head Tanks" , the KV 2 is another...obviously here we are talkin' about an artillery piece mounted on the chassis of a Valentine , but i'll be very happy to own this little monster in K&C style!!!

:D I'd be Happy to see the 'Godfather' or maybe the 'Pope'::):p Anyhow, I'm Glad to here that Andy, is giving us a M-7 Priest S.P.because , Figarti's M-7 is too Expensive, and its Smaller in Size, even though he say's its 1/30th Scale! A Bishop would be NICE, but rather see a M-3 "HONEY(Light) Tank, a M_4A1 SHERMAN, and a M-3 GRANT, and Last a AEC MKI Armoured Carmade Fisrt! CIAO!

John,

First, this is not the suggestions section so please, enough is enough.

Second, how do you know Figarti Priest is too small? It's not even out yet for crying out loud so please give it a rest.

Also i'm not sure it is even an M7 Priest being released,as discussed in the other thread it could well be a 'real' Priest!.

Rob

Rob,
I think the Bishop would be a great idea especially for the North Africa campaign. I have always hoped that Andy would eventually make one.
Semper Fi!
Rick

Not only would it be a good idea, but as a Valentine tank is used as the chassis it would make sense to produce one of these at a later date.

Yes it's a more rare AFV so i think it would be an interesting subject, and the more firepower my 8th Army get the better.

Great idea Jeff.

John,
I thought I read your post on the Figarti section thanking Rick for making the priest and how excited you were to get it, come on dude enough of the b.s...Sammy

I would love to get a U.S. priest, since I do not have any Brits in my collection (sorry U.K. guys) I'll pass on the Figarti one though it is a beaut, and I will not pay 300 or more for the retired K&C priest, a new updated version would be lovely...Sammy

The retired K&C Priest is on e-bay asking a large price. Going from memory I think it is $650??

Terry

Maybe he isn't a Priest but the figure did remind me of the Priest from the Gregory Peck movie The Scarlet and the Black, except for the fascist salute etc.
