Say it isn't so! I think you will regret not picking up this set. I am presently using mine to hoist a propeller for my Figarti B-17 Bomber. However, she might return to duty at the "Bulge" shortly. In fact, I might have to pick up another one down the road. Have fun with the collection.

I guess it comes down to personal taste as do most collecting decisions, but it's my favourite wheeled vehicle by far:

Its a very nice set no doubt,but me i prefer fighting vehicles myself.Also with a limited budget i have to narrow my field a bit and concentrate on the stuff i really want.I think i'll have to go back to robbing banks.(see how THEY like it!!)

I still may get one, as it would go great with my wounded sherman, i also got the DD mechanics set as in the pic. I have 2 wounded shermans the BBA & the green repaint that our hosts were selling, so goes well with the DD boys.

Its really an impressive piece! It may be expensive, but I haven't heard anyone that bought it say they were unhappy with it.

I have mine in a nice wall display, and enjoy it!

So many interesting comments. If I can get around the price tag then there is the problem of space. I think as a contributing piece to a smaller vignette it would be great. One just needs to figure out the best way to display it.

Yes it's nice, think i got the last one at treefrog. The BBA one is lovely to though.

Hey Rob, it does have a machine gun you know You could do a display of GI's fighting off a German patrol trying to capture this magnificent recovery vehicle for the Reich

The price is very high but it's a lot of vehicle......I traded for one when they first came out.....It cost me 3 war torn buildings but was worth it.......to me...
