My first K&C Aircraft (1 Viewer)

Hi Guys,

I just saw NJJA’s (our friend John) photos of his “MAN DEN”… I am so jealous you guys in the States really do have it made! Lots of space… lots of basements and lofts to play with your toys!!! Congratulations…

John’s den says it all… “FUN! FUN! FUN!” That’s what this hobby is all about… for most people.

Best wishes and happy collecting!
Andy C.

Thanks Andy, glad you enjoyed the photos! I must admit I really enjoy my

time in there. Its a pleasure to walk in every day for another hard day at the

"office":D Instead of a pick and shovel I'm surrounded by lots of interesting

goodies......most of which were created by a certain "Wee" Scot!:D

Awesome mate wish i had that much room going to have to build myself a MAN room out the back got the room just need the money but it is being spent else where "Andy" + co.........:D

....................................................................................................

Every man needs a Den!:D I have always had one in our various homes.

Now I have this one, a shop/Harley room off the garage, and a shipping-

storage area also off the garage. So I have plenty of room to roam.....or

hide when the wife needs something done!:D

My Son-In-Law has a study, music room + an entire barn for his tools & stuff

so there is always something to strive for!:D

Mine arrived tuesday and is now safely on the bottom shelf of my large cabinet. I am very pleased with it. Next on my list will be to add the ground crew.

Ha, thats a good one, actually that is a sheet of $2 Bills I got a long time

ago from the Mint! Things have gotten moved around so many times you

never know what your going to find the next time something gets moved!:D

John....I am not sure all the accuracy cops we have trolling the forum these days will let you get away with a $2 bill in your RAF/Chinese Airfield Dio!

Mine arrived today ... damaged :mad::mad:

The wing is broken off

I liked the style and look though - hopefully I can still get a replacement

Got mine and it is now on display in the beginnings of my Battle of Britain diorama. I have to say the Battle of Britain is one of my favorite time periods of WW2. It was at this crucial time that the determination of England quite possibly saved Europe from Germany. I know the war would go on for 4 more years but without England holding on the world could be a very different place today. Churchill had it right.........so much owed to so few

In addition, I would recommend First Light by Geoffrey Wellum. A great book about WW2. Sad to say almost all of his friends and fellow pilots die during the war. Just goes to show you the sacrifice that these young men made.

Thinking about The Battle of Britain makes me want to go find my copy of the movie. I cant wait for the next Hurricane and then a Spitfire or 2?
