I received my Jagdpanzer IV this week and it is a terrific set, one of my favorites.
"Assault Gun" Andy has reeled off quite a few great Assault Gun/ Tank Destroyers in the last couple of years; Hetzer, Elephant, Short Barrelled Stug III, Semovente and Jagdpanzer IV.
While not as purrty as the Tigers and Panthers they've always been on the top of my AFV lists.
Kudos to Andy for working hard to hit each stage of evolution of the assault gun!

If I had my way,the money and the room I'd have one of every vehicle in WW2.I too love the Tigers/Panthers/Shermans,but also the Hetzers,Jagdpanthers and Stugs.Any AFV is welcome and for me K&C have been producing superb vehicles for years, long may it continue.

Myself I picked up all the German Bulge releases today from my dealer. I agree the Jagdpanzer IV is superb!

Awesome set, it is on my list. My all time favorite was the Hetzer, my stepdad saw it and loved it too, had to track one down for him. I think the Jagd is in the same class in my book.

I've been thinking about getting this set. It looks good in the photos. Is the commander a partial or full figure?

You're right the Hetzer set is a great set. The tanker figure in the hatch is one of K & C's best
I don't know if you've seen the movie Captain Correlli's Mandolin but they have a Hetzer in the battle at the end of the movie. Most likely it is a post war Swiss G-13 but close enough.

I have not seen the Jagdpanzer in hand but it's is one I think I will pass on....The zimmerit looks over-pronounced to me and I'm not sure regarding the kelly green color......The photo's do not make me want to purchase it but then again I have not seen it in person.....

I think it looks excellent in person including well done, high detail zimmerit.

I shall have to seek out the movie, thanks for the lead.

I agree on the tanker figure, again, very cool set(s)

Thanks for the pics, always like seeing TREEFROGGER pics in addition to the K&C marketing pics. Looks like another rarely done and wonderful piece to add to my every growing list. The size of my Panzer division is swelling larger than many of the allotments in the actual Panzer divisions in 44/45!!! My only nit pic is the camo scheme is not my favorite ( but I'll still get it ), I prefer the tri-camo or the polka-dot ambush schemes.

Cheers

I always thought that these were some of the "meanest" looking PzIV variants. I hope someday we might get the L70 version.

Tom-

It is a really good movie. I got roped into it because my girlfriend wanted to see a romantic movie. It actually has some pretty good scenes where you get a look at a few well done vehicles.

I highly recommend the new Jagdpanzer, it is really nice, as minor as it seems the extras on the tank, ie the jerry cans, tool boxes, etc, are very well detailed.

It's a nice AFV- I was thinking it would be a bit larger than it was. Not a "Scale" issue, just thought it was bigger.
