What photos are the K&C LAH HQ based from? Is the paint scheme accurate?

Thanks ahead!

I understand it was based on the original LAH HQ at Lichterfeld, Berlin, here's a photo of it. I believe the original building was built from reddish colored bricks, but not sure if it was painted subsequently.

Thanks Oz... I am trying to figure out why it was done in the off-yellow paint, if there was a basis for that?

The CS LAH HQ (admittedly supposed to be late war, 1944) is red brick....

You're welcome. The K & C LAH HQ and ANNEX sets I have are painted in an attractive Cream color with Red stripes, Gold lettering and Tan window frames. Clearly they're not an accurate rendition of the actual building, more likely a stylized backdrop for toy soldiers.

I pulled out my Berlin 38 leaflets and K&C states.... Both facades were based on actual plans for a new Liebstandarte Headquarters that was to have been built in Berlin in 1942. I hope this clears up any confusion about the LAH facades.
