This is my first attempt at posting an image. This is my conversion medieval pavilion tent I made from the JG Miniatures tent of Richard the Lionheart. Mine is the one with the red and white sides and long red flag on top. The flag is made from a piece of very thin copper sheet that I picked up at my local hobby shop. It is glued to a thin copper dowl with Crazy Glue and then painted. The glue bonded the parts extremely well. I can' get the flag to come apart from the dowel.

No image. Well, that didn't work too well. Can anyone tell ,me what I did wrong. I know this can't be too hard to do.

Thanks,

George

It looks like you are trying to link to a local file on your computer rather than a website. To insert an image the way you did the picture needs to be posted on a website (i.e. http://photobucket.com etc.).

If you want to post directly to the forum you need to attach the picture (the paper clip button). Keep in mind there are size constraints for attachments.

Thank you, Frank,

I know what I did wrong. I also need to reduce my file size and then I will be able to post the image. I'll do that later today. Gotta run right now.

George you can also upload your photo to an album that you create here on Treefrog. The software will then automatically resize the photos and then you can link to them in your posts.

Thank you,

I appreciate the help. I think I reduced the image a bit too much though. I like the idea of your software automatically resizing my images. I'll try to create an album tonight. I have a lot of images that I'd like to post.

WoW  - Great Work George !

I love the tent - I have to get back to my Crusader collection next year and start working on new displays and pick up new K&C releases - I am behind on those !

Thank you, Ron. This new tent gives me something different. I took my other Lionheart tent and filled in the original rounded fringe flaps with white putty, then carved the new, larger flaps to the desired shape and sanded everything smooth before painting. The Lionheart decals were easy to peel off.

Really great detail work - George - I want one ! :D

Thanks for the kind compliments, Ron. Actually, the tent took me 3 evenings to complete. It was a lot of time and work. The tent was a labor of love. I"ll be happy to give you any advice that will help you to make one for yourself. It's not hard, just time consuming and I think you would enjoy doing it. The tent I started with is the Richard the Lionheart campaign tent from J.G. Miniatures.
