Interesting....I put up a poll like this shortly after I joined the forum, and one of the moderators took it down, because he didn't understand the humor behind it. I'm glad to see that there's more of a sense of humor these days.

Maybe we should have a poll about this poll: is it annoying or only mildly so to have a poll to see how annoying they are :D

This is a good idea, IMO. Let's have a poll to see what the rest of you think. Is it a good idea to have a poll about an idea to have a poll about an idea.........
 
We could have a poll about a poll about having a poll whilst taking a poll to see if it is necessary to have a poll


That doesn't have much poll in it.......why am I hearing Vikings singing poll poll poll poll poll poll :D
 
I brought this thread up as a joke with Terry,can't believe folks are still voting!:eek:.I think now and again a poll is a bit of fun,but I agree if they are too often it spoils the effect somewhat.

There are 5 categories to vote on various levels of annoyance but only one category to vote for polls and only as a petulant "i'll ask what i like and you can't stop me" - hardly a good reason. So that is 5 to 1 , and that is a conservative interpretation. Perhaps the poll is poorly designed like so many (most) of them :p:D

Well the way this pool pool is phased it is either designed to solicit a negative reaction to pools or simply be taken as a joke, which is the way I took it. In either case the only observations that can be reasonably made about its results are that there were x categories and y people voted; and that is conservative as well.;):D
 
Guys for the love of God please tell me not a single one of you took this poll in any other way it was meant!.It was just meant to be a light hearted mocking of the many polls (a lot of them started by me!)here on the forum.It was not meant to be a serious poll in anyway,if a single one of you took it for real I'm off to the bell tower with my high powered......;)

With one vote to go before the 100 mark,it looks like polls are pretty popular after all(sorry Terry:):p).As I said before,as long as they are not too often I don't see the harm.:):cool:

Popular :confused::confused: The poll began May 1, 2008. It's taken 22 months - almost 2 years to get less than 100 responses. I wouldn't call that popular Even The Pollster aka arnhem44mad has given up on them :cool:
