That's because he wants to do it right, Obviously there have been other commitments.

I am waiting patiently Martin.
I also want them to be right and I have every confidence Ken will not do a rush job on things. Ken did resurrect the Dragon Crest Line about 8 years ago if I remember correctly. I bought a whole lot of matt Yorks and Lancs off him about 3 years ago.
Maybe we should start another thread on this topic to allow Tommy and Larry and the Boxer collectors to continue their learned and valuable discussion without a lot of interruptions.
A separate thread will also allow us and hopefully Ken to establish just how much interest there is in this project.

Damian,

I wholeheartedly support this new thread on the possible rebirth of Trophy.

It would be good if Martin could persuade Ken Jackson to join the forum and share his thoughts.

Thanks, Raymond.:)

Good idea, I don't like to disturb the other discusions, I have a lot of respect for Len and his figures.

Ken and a computer, you'll be lucky! I do pass on thoughts from this site though.

Would love to see the return of Trophy figures, in gloss. I, too, believe that gloss is the proper medium and that the figures lack the detail for todays matte market demands. But they are an outstanding product in gloss. JMO. -- lancer

Personally, I'd vote for bringing back the Boxer and Anglo-Zulu War lines. Egypt and the Sudan also has a strong following.

I've noticed there's not much interest in the American Civil War sets on eBay. The Wax Museum in Gettysburg has been selling a lot of sets from their gift shop recently, and the sale prices have been relatively low by Trophy standards.

And the First World War market seems to be lukewarm as well. Just my observations on demand.

I don't know if you've seen any of my figures but you'll see that I generaly agree about the gloss. Although the WW1 bus worked well in matt.

An there's something to say about the later sets of zulus on their new bases done in matte but that's food for thought only they'll always shine in gloss.

Len already does, I'm not sure but I don't think that people on here realise that Len and Ken have been very close friends for a long time, I know they were talking about some of the things said on here just the other day.
