Looks like you got to playing Michael in the wee hours of the morning again with great results providing a group of your finest photos. The Brazso buildings look great and fit in very well with the way you've featured your figures in creating your photo dioramas. Thanks for sharing your playtime once again... Papa Zulu

I see the Crusader bug has really bitten you Michael - all your photos are very nicely done and they really show off your growing collection.

Great pics Mike. Like you, I can't wait to see some new troops come out in this line.

Hehehehe...I'm bored...it's been a long time since I got a Jenkin's delivery...

I thought these Crusader pictures would look good in cartoon form...they are so colorful...:)

An I fully agree Sir Michael they look great.

These have been around for a while...but they are new to me...I just received them today...both attractive and very heavy figures...I have all the infantry...but still need another 12-14 mounted figures to get caught up...

MK024...Mounted Knight With Axe...
MK044...Saracem With Lance Up Mounted...

Hi Mike,

I've also had the same problem you've experienced, regarding chipped paint off of the axe handles, where they get bent, just above the hand, on some of my medieval figures. The axes are often bent when I receive them. I can't figure out how this happens, because the figures are packaged in foam inside of the box. I bend them back and touch up the paint on the axe handle, but I never seem to get it exactly perfect. No one else seems to be able to tell it's not perfect though. It's not something I loose sleep over. Each axe handle seems to be a different color than the others, by the way.

I just got this guy today...

Sir Walter De La Mer...

MK-054...

K&C did good here...he's a beauty for sure...

and weighs in...at an impressive 15 ounces...

almost 1 solid pound...

they did a great job on this guy...

I put him with a Saracen (1/2 of the MK-051 set) to stage a small fight...

a Barzo...Shore's of Tripoli building for a background...

and flipped their positions to show both sides...

That's a beauty, Michael. Groundcover and shrubs look fantastic in all your dioramas...is that a shredded coffee bean I see?!!

Nice little vignette Mike, always nice to see what displays that you can come up with.

Thanks Nicholas..thanks Scott...

Nicholas...

no...that's the dirt and mulch in the coffee grinder from my flower bed that we talked about...

I'm curious...how did your attempt at a ground mix of mulch come out...

I do add about 50% of that rich black dirt to mine and pick the smallest of the broken mulch to start with in the grinder...

Lovely figure Mike and a hefty one at that by the sounds of it!:cool:

Jeff

Thank you Jeff...

I also just got this guy today...

Attacking Mounted Crusader With Sword...MK-048...

he weighs in at 14 ounces and the painting is really nice...

I have him with a Del Prado Saracen and some K&C Saracens...

I really like the horse's armour (the design and painting) and the sneer on his face from his eyebrows and nostrils...

used the same Barzso building...just turned it around for a different look...

I'm still looking for an MK04 and MK08 if anybody wants to sell or trade...

PM me please...
