Thinking of getting up there on Friday for the Noon to 5 viewing. Anyone going? Also, never been to this show, is Friday a full plate as far as dealers?

Tom

Haven't been in a couple of years (since they moved) but Friday is always the busy day. I'm going to try to make it down.

Tom,
Friday is a full day as far as the dealers, as is Saturday; both days are good from a dealer perspective, the rare stuff is gone by Saturday from a buyers prespective.

Should be a good one, nice weather is in the forecast and quite a few customers have told me they are coming down for either (or in some cases both) days..................

There's an item in our calendar for the MFCA show:

http://www.treefrogtreasures.com/forum/calendar.php?do=getinfo&e=56&day=2010-5-7&c=1

so you could set up a reminder, if you'd like, and our website is ww.mfcashow.com. I've got a list posted of the vendors who will be attending, but I received some updates over the weekend, which I haven't gotten to post yet.

George is right, both Friday and Saturday are busy days, generally speaking. I must respectfully correct the other Brad, but at 9AM Saturday, there's a crowd waiting for us to open. Actually, there are different groups of people who come on one day or the other, and many folks who are in the area for both days.

Prost!
Brad

Well, based upon my experience in attending this show, although there may be crowds waiting to get, Saturday is not as well attended as Friday.

With all due respect, as past treasurer of the Society, and a member of the show committee since 1994, I can say that our numbers show roughly equal numbers of admissions receipts collected between both days. My dad can beat up your dad, no way the Atlantic is a great ocean than the Pacific (anyone know this movie reference?), and so on and so on.

Tom, c'mon up, I think you'll enjoy the show. I'll be working the admissions table, so I'm sure I'll see you either day. Do be sure to browse the exhibition, too. And if you're able to stay later, stop up to the hospitality suite and socialize with the other collectors and the artists from all over the world who will be there.

Prost!
Brad

I will be there Saturday. I've always attended on Saturday. I have never been able to make Friday unfortunatley. In my opion this is one of the best shows on the East Coast. If you can make either day, it is certainly worth the trip.

Ericka and I will be there set up next to Richard Walker of W. Britain. Stop by and see us.
We will have some of our custom scenics along with three of our new Normandy buildings for sale.
See some of you soon!

I'm a huge fan of the Hawaiian Shirt Mafia, they always do their part to thin out my inventory, for which I am very appreciative..................

Thanks for your support, you guys make the Long Island show worthwhile just with your purchases alone, so many thanks for that. Will see you in afew days..............

We will be be seeing you in force George and in our normal mode of show dress......but photo enclosed just incase you need fair warning when you see us waddling toward your table. Don't let the guy ( Loren Johnson) in the middle scare you...his brother got drunk in a bar in Africa and somehow ending up buying a bolt of cloth....Translation...guess what every family member got for Xmas.

MFCA has been in place since 1941, and I have been going since the early 70's.....wouldn't miss it for the world.

Walt Damon on behalf of the Historical figure addicts of Western Mass. (side note: As we are primanly figure painters. we will all be displaying in the competion room. So for any Treefroggers, Please try to find some time from bingeing at the vendor tables and come see our work)

I look forward to seeing all of you, too, especially in the hospitality suite Friday and Saturday ;)

We'll take our PlanetFigure show pic, too!

Prost!

I'll be there on Saturday. For those who have never attended this event before, I would like to repeat what has already been said and that is don't miss it!!! I've always gone on the 2nd day (Saturday) and it's been well attended. It is worth your time as a collector and the exhibit area makes this show quite unique!!!

Having been to a few of the shows on the east coast over the years, I believe it is the best one on the east coast. You're not going to want to miss this one!!

Mark

Looks like Tom and I are going to meet up and check out the show on Friday, so anybody who wants to sell some Heco Tinplate stuff, be advised I will be on the lookout . . . :p
