Had a long conversation with Len this morning and sent him best wishes from everyone who had asked me too. He has been though the wars during his convalescence but is steadily on the mend, getting a visit from a physiotherapist each day.
As you can imagine during the conversation I asked a few questions
, here are a couple of definitive answers relevant to questions recently raised on the Forum regarding certain sets
1. The Arab Dhow was supplied with just four figures, two gunners, one helmsman and a Dervish holding a banner
2. The Trophy “Rolls- Royce” was never supplied with a female passenger.
Set#VV1 – Lord Roberts of Khandahar, driver and Aide-de Camp
Set#VV2 – The Maharaja of Bikaners, Indian chauffeur and Military Aide
Cheers, now back to the Highland Brigade
