Yea...

I'm out of this too...

I have asked you at least 4 times to explain what is "the extra mile service" that you expect...before you can award the seller a "positive feedback"...

you've skirted around this question every time...

this horse is beaten...

you're being unfair by expecting a bonus as to what a seller is offering, promising and delivering...

I can't tell if you want a "smiley face card" packed in the box or a discount on shipping...

it's unreasonable to expect anymore than promised...

it's unfair to give a "negative feedback" to a seller that delivers on what he promises...

Ebay is tough for sellers...it's a buyers market...

no offense...but guys like you make it frustrating for sellers...

you should re-examine your first post and loosen up a little on your stringent guidelines on ratings...

now...what's your buyer's name?

I was about toGive my ebay Identity as soon as all seven things I got from ebay came. But now, Nah!. Now all sellers needs to be aware that,There has to be that Neutral force at ebay. When you are in a restaurant, And the waiter Usually gets your order in 20 minutes, and he is there in less than that, And gets everything that you ordered in less time than it usually takes. that is attentive and great service. And a positive feedback is given. But if something takes the same time everytime. Does a positive feedback be warranted? .
You guys are just seeing happy with the item or not happy with the item. When theres that OK its here, time for the next one. Which is neutral.
Some sellers wants their money within an alloted time. so maybe they can spend it on something. So why can this same sellers not have the same urgency to send the items in the same alloted time that they ask for.
Anyway, its time for me not to look at this thread anymore. But sellers be Forwarned. There has been over 700 views in this thread. and more than likely most are Buyers. IMPRESS US!! Because a Neutral feedback may be warranted!!

It seems to me that you are under the impression here that a lot of the viewing buyers are in agreement with you. I can't see that and I do think that you should be a little more appreciative that you have the opportunity to buy your hobby items on ebay. Your points are pretty low in my opinion. But of course it is easy now since the sellers do not have the option anymore to leave a negative feedback.

I am guessing another seller. As a buyer, What is there not to like in what am I saying. Faster shipping, better packaging. Seller accountability for both. What is there not to like??

I am buyer and seller for about 10 years now with a positive feedback of some 2700.
I don't like the attitude. If a seller states that a paid item will be shipped within 3 days, why do you want it shipped in a day or two? If a seller states that a paid item will ship within 10 days, why do you expect in less than that?
If a seller states that he wants payment within a day and will ship within two weeks, then accept that or don't buy. If it is stated and you place your winning bid or hit the "buy it now" button then you agree to the said conditions. Where do you get the idea from to expect more then that?
It is very difficult to understand for me.

Hi Konrad, fully agree with you. Speaking as a buyer if everything goes well and if some problem arises and gets solved, why shouldn't I leave positive feedback? If the seller goes the extra mile I'll mention it when I leave positive feedback. Many sellers are not professional sellers, are indeed people who have their jobs and families to take care of, let's be a little understanding here. This is E-bay remember? Leaving feedback on such strict guidelines would surely spoil many people's feedback and certainly any reasonable seller-buyer relationship, and thus E-Bay itself. All IMHO of course.

As someone who has been both ebay buyer and seller, but mainly a buyer, the attitude expressed above is one with which I am familiar. Its the same patron in the restaurant that the wait staff loathe to serve; its the phone call into customer service in which the service rep is bombarded with 'f' bombs.

Rude people are out there in the world. Personally, I prefer to keep my distance.

After viewing this thread I have to say I am one not in agreement with Spartan71 views. Nothing against him, but as a ebay seller I would prefer if people with that attitude would not bid on my auctions.
As a buyer, if the seller lives up to the terms he has stated, I will be more than happy to provide positive feedback. Pretty simple.

Well Spartan, this is what I call a "Pushy Buyer".

I really hope you stay away from my listings. Whether I "impress" you or not is not the issue. Your attitude is.

I have dealt with pushy buyers like the one above, and Ebay has no more time for them as do the honest sellers. They have reversed ridiculous undeserving feedback from buyers for me in the past. As long as I have my documentation and email messages back and forth, they have been more than fair..Michael

How can a neutral feedback, be reversed? If ebay told you this. then....
How can they ignore someone that has over 180 dealings, mostly in King and country, Figarti, Collectors showcase. averaging $100.00 a pop. that is $18 thousand dollars at least , I have more than 200 dealings, some I just do not give feedback on.. If you believe ebay will mess with buyers, that has spent the money, the lifeblood of them getting paid. Then, that is your drea.. world

this particular thread has grown from 700 plus to almost 900 in 12 hours. If only 10 percent ( I hope more) would think twice before giving that feedback, unless it is deserved. Then.......

Where's the emoticon for beating a dead horse? Can this thread be closed now in the interest of civility on the board?

All hail Spartan71, my liege.

It's too bad you don't have the courage of your convictions.
Why don't you just post your ebay user name to show us just how serious you are? or is this just another case of someone shooting there mouth off and hiding behind the skirts of anonimity provided by the internet?

Michael, Tom, Gideon, Ray, Scott-well put, gentlemen, every one!

Prost!

I want the user id too so I have it for reference.

Also as an fyi, my feedback is 5739 with 100% positive and a member since 1998. I have had over 10500 transactions in total on ebay, so I feel like I have a pretty good handle on how it works and how it should work. I state again, your attitudes and mannerisms are unreasonable in my opinion.

Again, I have been a BUYER more times than a Seller.......I hope my wife is not reading this!

Okay time for a hint I have dealt with tdubel, And gave him a positive feedback.
I do not want to be the Liege/ leader. just want to have the same amount of time/ treatment that a seller wants. if they want my money in 3 days. So that its fair should I not expect the same from the sellers. And this all started when I said A neutral feedback be given, So I am again asking. Ebay thinks there should be a neutral feedback choice, on the feedbacks.
What warrants a neutral feedback to be given sellers.
