Where I could obtain them, I provided production run numbers in the Volume I of the K&C book. The production numbers were considerably smaller than they are today.

Obliged Louis

As yet have not been able to get one of the books

On average, around 200 of each glossy WSS01-WSS06 were produced, and 200-300 of each matt WS01-WS10 were produced, with the exception of the matt WS04 (tank crew), of which only 30 were produced.

Wow...

Never knew they were so limited. Knew they would not have made a lot but, thought it may have been a few thousand. I know everyone goes on about quality today but, for me the sets I have from that era are truly unique and I love their look.

Never bettered IMO

You do realize that the poses of these figures were inspired by plastic figures from the 1960's and 1970's (1:32 scale Airfix or Atlantic Afrika Corps figures).

Funny you should mention this as I have just been discussing all the 1/32nd airfix (with UKSubs) I have in the loft. I love these figures and, the german Ski troops and british commando's being some favourites.

Thanks for the info Louis

The early K&C 82nd Airborne figures are also inspired by the poses of the Airfix U.S. Paratroops.

thanks louis what about the ak sets??what the run be the same?/

Yes, they would have been a run of either 200 or 300, with the exception of AK09 the Resin Kubelwagon, of which no more than 50 would have been made.

thanks again i did pick up a ws04 in matt you said 30 were made so i guess a good pick up?
