With all the great new ranges that have come out or are going to come out what new range has members started collecting this year. Even if it was an existing range but you only started to collect it this year I would be interested. For me I haven't started any this year but I am going to collect Conte's NWF.I really like the Colonial period but The NWF always interested me the most.I also like Conte's new Roman range but I think I'll pass on this for now. What have you guys gotten into?

It is very difficult to restrain oneself with all the great releases, but ultimately you just have to realistically consider what you have the space and resources for. As much as I love the ACW and AWI ranges, I just have to stick with my Naps. And I agree the JJD Sudan range looks wonderful...but...you know. It is hard enough to keep up with just the manufacturers of the quality Napoleonic figures.

My interest are from the Third Crusade to the Fall of Berlin and so always interested in filling in the gaps, conditions permitting with shelf space. I have these displayed on 53 shelves. This year I'll be working on FL Seige of Acre 1291, Britains Sudan and Battle of Isandlwana as new and adding to existing collections.

Most likely a mix of JJD's and WB's Sudan things I think. Most excited so far about the Naval Bde crew from JJD and the 5 x Fuzzies from WB. :)

Nothing new for me, was going to collect some WB Sudan but too much AZW coming out so will continue with that and add the odd retired glossy piece to the ceremonial collection if I can.

I am looking to pick up some of Figarti's Pacific range.

Still buying Little Legion and Britains AZW and the occasional AFV (K&C, Collectors Showcase and Figarti.)

Trophy AZW if I can find them at reasonable prices.

I can only afford one J Jenkins range at a time, my first and only is the Monongahela range, I'm still in college so I'm finding it hard to choose between keeping up with new figures he comes out with, and trying to find older sets, it's a fine balance.
There's a ton of other ranges from different makers I could name, but my second choice, if I could afford it, would be K&C Alamo range, I've only got a couple figs now.

It looks like I will be adding First Legion's Crusade range, subject to the competiting opportunities offerred by their Napoleonic range.

Nothing new for me nor do I ever expect to jump into anything new in the near future. I have seen lines that show promise but didn't drop any cash because I wanted to wait to see how it played out. Two things in general-

1.) If First Legion does Roman figures from the Second Punic war through Hadrian time period-AND they do adequate competing forces- I'm Down and will buy

2.) Given that Figarti has taken the plunge with OIF and unleashed the Abrams and Stryker, I fully intend to support them financially by gobbling those things up and taking another look at their line. Problem with OIF releases is that Iraqi forces are lacking.

Will be fading out from AWI and WW2 is forcing me to be much more selective.

With all my varied interests 2010 has been a hard year because my goal was to consolidate ranges, not add new ones. However having said that the FL Samurai's look really interesting and JJ's new WWI warbirds and Spanish Civil War pieces are areas I will slowly add to, if only a piece here and there for representation. I will certainly not be a completist in any of these lines.

FL samurai have been the stand out range though I now think the CS marching LAH look fantastic sculpts

With all the fantastic additions, I have been forced to narrow my collecting. In anticipation of the new WW1 aircraft from KC and JJD,which I will defintely want to get, I have stopped buying ACW, FIW, WW2 (except some KC aircraft and an occasional Tiger tank), and WW1 ground war. I intend to keep collecting JJD Jacobites but have cancelled plans for all the Sudan additions from JJD and Britains. May add a figure or so from KC's SOE but that depends on money. -- Al
