Mitch,
Interesting question; when I first started to carry painted metal figures ten years ago, the scenery and terrain was designed to highlight the figures and as Andy from K & C puts it, to spark the imagination of the customer, so initially, the scenics were not for sale.
The funny thing is so many people were asking to buy them, I started to sell the scenics along with the figures, so for the past eight or nine years, all the scenics are for sale at my stand.
Some are one of a kind I've cobbled together using readymake scenics along with kits from Plus Models, Verlinden and Custom Dioramics; there are some I wish I did not sell as the kits are out of production, but such is life.
All of the items you see in the pictures are ready made scenics made of lightweight polyfoam, from such companies as CTS, Formtech, Conte, Barszo, Hobby Bunker, etc, etc, all of whom have their own unpainted scenics; i either buy them from the manufacturer and paint them up, or take them as trade/buy them outright from collectors who no longer want them.
Iv'e also got a Conte Church and Priory set; I came into several Conte pieces recently as sadly, one of my long time customers passed away and his wife sold his collection to me..................
