I received the two Condor Legion tanks today and they are excellent but it may not be what people are expecting. They are quite light and look like they're probably made from resin, not metal, not polystone. In this regard, they're probably close to the kind of models made by First Legion. John seems like he's looking for modeler quality and although I'm not a modeler that's what they seem to be. I will try to post photos as time permits but I'm sure I couldn't improve on the photos made by John that were posted by Sierra back in the September thread.
Good point. I didn't think of that but if JJD did the Mk.I's in resin then the plane would be a logical subject for the same treatment. I don't know how much more a Mk.I would weigh in polystone, anyway. I had the KC Mk.I and it didn't weigh a lot either. I would still worry about wing warpage with resin, though. Maybe the struts and bracing wire will serve an actual purpose. So must the Sopwith Camel be a resin. I find it hard to believe that those wings are made of polystone.

There sure would be a lot to choose from. Maybe a counterattack by the 1st REP at Dien Bien Phu, supported by some Chaffee tanks? One more thing and I don't know if this means anything but the outside of the box says "The Twentieth Century Collection.".
This may indicate the breadth of the path John intends to pursue, not confining himself to one or two conflicts but many conflicts.

I wouldn't draw too much from that. John characterizes all his lines by century. And we are already have WWI planes and SCW. I would be surprised if he goes beyond that in the near future. The scope and number of existing lines almost precludes it. But I've been wrong before.![]()
