Does this look ok,scale wise weathering etc etc................:confused:

On scale it is hard to tell without ballast. IMO the weathering is too light. All the track I have seen is fully rusted on the sides and shiny on top from the wear of the train car wheels. Branch line or sidings that get Little traffic have more rust on the top of the tail. If it was me I would just paint the sides with a rust colored paint.
 
I agree about needing some ballast, otherwise the railroad ties are too large and overwhelm the soldiers..Is this considered g-scale track? Michael

Michael; G scale is a misnomer used by LGB for their Garden railway which was narrow gauge=meter gauge and was about 1/22.5 scale. The actual gauge of the track is the European standard 1 gauge which is 1/32 scale. Probably as close as you will get to the 1/28 scale K & C figures shown in the photo. A more precise scale track would require building your own. Marklin makes excellent 1 gauge track, locomotives and rolling stock which can be found on Ebay.:)
